    I worked at AdAsia Communications

    Pros

Solid culture, with great people. They have some good accounts and everyone is very helpful getting you on your feet. It's the prefect entry-level job into the advertising industry

    Cons

After a year you realize theres not much room for growth and the accounts are great, but you start to realize it's very lacking in diversity.

    Advice to Management

Try to give juniors more of a chance and cut back on dead weight employees. It's clear something are not working and the people who are suppose to fix it, are not performing.

      I worked at AdAsia Communications

      Pros

Friendly work environment that had a healthy work life balance. Management did what they could to encourage growth and always searched for opportunities to promote within.

      Cons

Small company that makes growth somewhat difficult. Internal processes could be fine tuned in order to maximize efficiency and workflow.

      Advice to Management

Continue to search for different opportunities as an agency so that your scope of work can grow into a bigger market. Don't be afraid to learn new things and step out of comfort zones.

I worked at AdAsia Communications full-time

        Pros

Big office and Clean bathroom always had toilet paper... thats it

        Cons

Long day, little pay. Management needs improve people skills. A lot of backstabbing. No opportunities to grow and they lie about somethings. They know how to use visa as advantage to control employees. Everyone is scared and very strict environment. Not an agency setting at all.

        Advice to Management

Respect and trust people. Some juniors are very talented but doesn't get credit for hard work. Get better work environment because people there are unhappy and keep leaving.

"It was not a pleasant experience"

        StarStarStarStarStar
          Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at AdAsia Communications

          Pros

The main accounts were great. Clients were a pleasure to work with.

          Cons

They treated ppl differently on a case by case basis. There was favoritism. It was all about perception on how mgmt saw u. Very strict rules, or get pay docked if more than x times late in a pay period. They try to screw with your vacay days. You had fight for your rights for certain benefits

          Advice to Management

Please try to treat ppl fairly and retain good ppl. Mgmt is run by arrogant leaders who need to be coached.

I worked at AdAsia Communications full-time

          Pros

Big, roomy office with plenty of parking space. Great clients. Nice and friendly people.

          Cons

Mid managements are incompetent with poor judgements, poor professional skills but high pride, which created very low glass ceilings with absolutely no room or opportunities to grow. No mentor program, and no learning or stepping up opportunities for junior staffs. Mid managements are the major discouragement for team morale, they focus solely on senseless hierarchy, power play, and pleasing the boss instead of...

          Advice to Management

Get rid of the incompetent and lazy mid managements already, they are the main reason your good staffs left the company one after another! Let people with the real skills, experience and talents to lead. Start treating the talented ones better, they are your assets, you should invest in them or they would just leave and help your competitors. Try to talk to your junior staffs more to learn about the real current...
