    Poor Management

    Pros

The best group of people in the analytics industry work here. Great place to get started and get mentorship. If you're just starting your career, this place is great to grow but it's not a place for long term career for most people.

    Cons

Low pay, high turnover, promotions are only for those that are close with people in power. Whoever's been working there for so long and contributing the most are still at the same place they were years ago (not by choice). Ideas from more junior roles are rarely taken by management. Management trusts people outside the org to lead more than those who have worked for the company longer and has shown true drive and love for this company. Leadership promises great things but would not deliver.

    Adswerve Response

Thank you for taking the time to share your opinions. We agree that our teams are made up of the best in the industry and we truly value all that they do for our company. We strongly believe that all team members should have the opportunity for personal and professional growth within Adswerve and we will be finishing the rollout of our new career pathing program by the end of the year. This will allow team members to not only see where they are but also outline options for growth, development, and promotional opportunities in the future. We appreciate your feedback on compensation and workload issues. We review salaries frequently to ensure they are competitive in the market and we strive to ensure employees have a good work/life balance. We will be rolling out some new programs in the near future to further promote flexibility. Our project management process can be improved, and we have started to build out a new team with the focus of improving processes, streamlining, and creating efficiencies internally. We are also rolling out new feedback channels that will give team members additional options in how they share their ideas and opinions. As a company, we find employee feedback highly valuable, and want to ensure that each team member feels comfortable in their ability to share their thoughts and opinions with leadership.

    Great company

    Jul 1, 2022 - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

    - Flexible work hours - Great work life balance, no expectation to meet with clients super early in the morning or extremely late at night. - Great culture - Smart people - Collaborative culture, questions encouraged and no questions are stupid questions. - Clearly tasked templates and task execution expectations - Great quality control processes in place for project and project management overall.

    Cons

    - The pay is lower than what other agencies will pay (but not by far). This is only a small issue compared to the bigger issue below which is focused around gaining job experience and growth. - Extremely slow to grow from an entry-level standpoint and KPI’s for billable hours (1300 per year which isn’t a lot) unable to be met. This is mostly due to a combination of bottleneck in client work (not enough to go around) as well as preference for skilled workers to be put on client work opposed to ones that don’t have much experience. My feedback here would be to allow the hire to shadow these working sessions and maybe even get them involved in some way so that the opportunity for growth is still there. They don’t necessarily have to bill the client for it; but it’ll help facilitate learning as opposed to just being shut out of projects due to lack of skill and being placed on the back burner. - Sometimes, leadership will have disagreements in what feedback they give to an employee. A director will say one thing whilst approaching employee separately without manager, and a manager will say another in a separate meeting. It’s hard to tell what exactly leadership wants.

Thank you for your honest and actionable feedback. The ongoing growth and development of our team is important to us and we are currently exploring opportunities to provide more hands-on experience for our team members that are seeking it (including additional shadowing opportunities). We’ve also noted your feedback on the KPI process and appreciate the time you’ve taken to provide your ideas for improvement. We are currently working on the rollout of some new ways for our team to provide feedback anonymously so that we can be made aware of any existing and emerging issues or opportunities for improvement.

Good Place to Work but Some Improvement is Needed

    Jun 24, 2022 - Anonymous Employee
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

    - Most people genuinely seem care about you and your wellbeing - Extremely flexible work hours/accommodation for sick days off - Lots of enthusiasm on most teams - WFH with ability to have occasional meetups in-person - Fair salary - Lots of work to make the company a better place

    Cons

    - Management will encourage your growth and development, but only if that growth is on the same team (it's difficult to change teams here) - Leadership (executives) seem really disconnected from the rest of the company - Sometimes toxic positivity - Needs more diversity

    Adswerve Response

Thank you for the feedback! Genuine care for our people is at the center of the culture at Adswerve and we’re happy to be able to provide a flexible work schedule that can take place remotely or in-person for those that wish to work from one of our offices. We have had a number of team members successfully transition between departments. It’s unfortunate that you did not feel supported in your growth and development outside of your team. As a company, we would much rather have a team member join a new role than join a new company. We are in the process of rolling out new career pathing and feedback channels to help identify these opportunities in the future.

    Adswerve Response

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. While we believe we have the best team in our industry, our aim is to always keep improving. In 2022 and beyond, we have made our Manager Development Program a top focus as we understand that good leaders are absolutely integral to building and growing good teams. Adswerve’s compensation package strives to be a robust mix of pay and benefits with a focus on our team members’ wellbeing. We’re sorry to hear that you did not feel your salary was inline with this philosophy and we are rolling out new feedback options within the company (including a new option for anonymous feedback) that will help us to build early awareness of any existing or new issues that our team may be experiencing.
