Pros

-no work-life balance - inexperience dmanagement - no structure - culture is only good if you're of a certain group of people or know someone previously - co founders are nice but have no idea what goes on

Cons

- low pay - scaling too fast - too much work, not enough bodies - hire people for what they're worth - don't believe all of the good reviews, the company incentives employees to write them

Thank you for providing a detailed review. We encourage our owners to talk to their managers about their schedules, working hours, and opportunities for flexibility—solutions can be found in working flexible hours, taking personal time off (unlimited vacation), or talking to our in-house social worker. You are right, we are growing fast, and so we need to hire to meet demands and take the pressure off existing owners. If you are still working at Ada, I encourage you to use "ask me anything" an anonymous feedback opportunity or talk to your team lead. Thank you again. Kerris, VP of People at Ada

Pros

Compassionate people, trying their best.

Cons

Low trust environment resulting in extreme micromanaging. Low emotional intelligence comes from leadership. Losing value and revenue creates an unstable work environment. It is not the best time to work here.

Thank you for your feedback. We believe that values are ever-evolving. As we scale our business, our values need to evolve to support this next phase of growth. The goal of our values is to provide clarity on what we need to succeed and achieve our mission. We understand this may be a hard change for some of our employees, but we do hope we are providing clarity. Thank you for the advice on learning more about cultures, markets, and customers outside of Canada - this is extremely important as we continue to hire more people and acquire customers outside of Canada - and is something for us to work on. - Bronwyn, SVP Operations at Ada
