I worked at Adams Golf as a contractor (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great golf equipment and engineering group
Plenty of advertising and tour sponsorship dollars to help drive sales and attract consumers

    Cons

    product cycle to short
always cutting back commissions and increasing cost of samples and demo products over the span of a couple years

    Advice to Management

extend product cycles, continue advertising campaigns, reduce cost to reps for sample and demo equipment, accounts paid the same price as sales rep working for the company

    They dont really exist anymore.

    Advice to Management

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

The people were all easy to get along with and hardworking. Their passion for golf really showed. The perks were excellent, especially if you were a huge golfer (and why wouldn't you be working at Adams).

    Cons

It has been closed down and all assets relocated to Taylormade HQ. Some people transferred, but most were let go.

I worked at Adams Golf full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Very few pro's since the merger with Taylormade and Adidas Golf, employees continued their efforts in building brand and growing customer affinity, but support from management that was sent from Taylormade, was very poor, with little concern for past accomplishments and growth from any department.

    Cons

Most of the con's are listed above. So many holes in senior leadership of this company and parent company, Taylormade Golf, that unsure as to the future of this brand.

  6. "post Taylormade buyout"

    Pros

Glassdoor forces you to give these but Adams doesn't exist anymore.

    Cons

Adams got bought out and then they got shut down.
