I have been working at Adecco USA part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Application was quick and easy. Talking on the phone with local representative was a joy. I got a call back later for additional employment opportunities for which I seemed compatible. They direct deposit pay checks, but you do not get a pay stub. You can text to find out your pay info.

    Cons

It was quite confusing really nailing down the job I wanted. I ended up getting put in as a "backup" at first, which was disappointing, but I eventually was able to work 15 days straight. There is a quite a lot of paperwork to complete when you pick up a job (but I guess that's the case anywhere); pretty quick to complete, however, if done on a home computer.

    Pros

There is room for growth and your manager will map out how to get there and steps needed to take to get there. My manager was hands down the best manager I have ever had the pleasure of working with and was the reason I stayed for as long as I did. Great health benefits, 19 days PTO when you start out, 401K, stock options, managers are willing to work with your schedules.

    Cons

The directors and VP's say they care about the colleagues but their actions speak very differently! No holiday parties, no annual increases, low pay for the work you are expected to do, you have to bend over backwards to get your settlement fees, the candidates you work with are one of a kind (not in a good way).

    Advice to Management

To the VP's and Directors- you really need to make your colleagues feel valued and stay true to your promises you offer each year and the incentives you promise within the branches.

I worked at Adecco USA full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Colleagues and some of the contingent staff were fun to work with. Very fast paced environment, exposure to many different facets to HR. Great time off package.

    Cons

Lack of training. Been with the company for a long time and there never has been any formal training program set in place other than online modules. No extra incentive for tenured employees other than more time off. Other than PTO, benefits package is sub par. No company parties or holiday events from corporate, other than small events/pot lucks coordinated bu local employees

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees how you would like to be treated. Involve everyone on team when making decisions. Come up with a plan to keep tenured employees (which is rare) and try to focus on reducing turnover
