I have been working at Adicio full-time

    Pros

In the jobs I have had so far in my life, this one I can say is one that I not only love coming to each day, but I also have learned more from than any other, by far. Loads of very Smart people here in business, and in technology development. Upper management is seasoned, experienced in the extreme, know this business, the Internet to the extreme and are real technology veterans in the SaaS space and in the creation of job site, and the recruitment and advertising business overall. The staff are as nice as they are smart. Company is moving to new offices down right off the beach in Carlsbad. Everyone I talk to is thrilled about the move. The client growth outside of Newspapers is great. The Professional Associations, Industry and Trade Journal Niche type clients also seem to be much more focused on real business, growing their businesses, and traffic than newspapers. I'm glad to see so many coming in over the past year or 2.

    Cons

My Cons are not for the company, but for the unethical ex-staff and ex-managers that I have found and even heard slandering people here at the company and the company itself, because they failed in their jobs, and from all I saw, took no responsibility anything. Instead I know for a fact that some have posted here - and were let go by the company 5 or more years ago, and keep posting here. I know one is also working for a competitor in management. It's really sad that they can't move on and get their lives going.

    I worked at Adicio full-time

    Pros

Was fun a long time ago. Was a great place when things were good. Certain people made the place a wonderful place to work.

    Cons

Things have been bad for a long time. Steady decline. All the great people left long ago. All the good people left a while ago. All that is left are the protected few who visiously protect their own jons. Do not work here. You will have a horrible experience.

    I worked at Adicio full-time

    Pros

Friendly, family-like atmosphere among coworkers. Full suite of benefits: 401K, health, dental, vision, and life insurance. Compensation was competitive and pay was always on time.

    Cons

High turn over rate. Before the recent layoff, there were about four or so productive employees for every manager. This is an absurd and unsustainable ratio that has only gotten worse thanks to another downsizing that left management completely in tact. Some, but not all, of the managers are incompetent, but they are untouchable because they're long time friends or family members of the CEO.

I worked at Adicio full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Flexible hours, friendly environment and co-workers

    Cons

No job security. the company has a history of lay offs. People are laid off without prior notice. Benefits suck. Company uses old outdated technology and seem to be living in the past business wise.

    I worked at Adicio full-time

    Pros

Most of the people I worked with were nice enough.

    Cons

There seemed to be a disconnect between upper management and the rest of the employees. There were many waves of mass firings in the past, so everyone seemed to be on edge. I guess it didn't help that the one product they sell caters to a diminishing industry, newspapers, and they really didn't have much in the way of new, exciting products to work on. The office itself was in an office park in Carlsbad, so there really were few options for lunch in the vicinity. Be prepared for monthly meetings featuring the ramblings of the owner/CEO that have no relevance to your work.
