    Pros

Promote employees from within, .good sales and service employees, excellent inter company production coordinator, good work hours

    Cons

Expect maximum pay minimum, lead one on to believe there is much to do ahead and once they have more than expected results quickly abandon you, some areas of plants very unsafe.

    Advice to Management

Curtail top employees from overriding good systems that will improve the bottom line. Make sure all areas are designed and maintained. For the safety of employees.

Former Employee - Route Supervisor in Houston, TX

I worked at Admiral Linen full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You are paid weekly. Your schedule mostly requires that you be there by 5:30ish so you end up beating the work traffic.

    Cons

Hours in the linen business are long. You also need to have a good grasp on speaking, or at least understanding, Spanish. As a supervisor you also have very little control of the employees that you are asked to supervise. More often than not you end up filling in as route relief.

    Advice to Management

Empower your supervisors to have more control and responsibility.

    Cons

unsafe building, fire hazards, if injured will not help and will withhold pay if report injury or unsafe work conditions

    Advice to Management

fire all management and learn labor laws. good luck in life and with possible legal trouble. learn to be humans and to interact with others in a professional manner.

I have been working at Admiral Linen full-time

    Pros

I get paid weekly. The break room has air conditioning. And, it's easy to get hired.

    Cons

Employee turn over is major. You rarely see the same faces month to month. Most employees don't even make it past the 90 day trail period. The pay is low, barely above minimum wage with no chance of an increase. The warehouse is so hot you feel like you will suffocate and die any minute. You never know one day to the next how many hours you are expected to work. No one tells you what time you get off until 10-20 minutes before you leave. So don't make plans, and if you have to call a ride, don't count on it. You have to wait till you actually clock out to use your phone. And you get yelled at about production percentages, even tho the machines need recalibrated, because their count is off and causes you to have lower percentages than you actually made.

    Advice to Management

See list of pros vs cons. Learn to treat people better. This business profits millions a year, surely you can afford to pay those of us that make it possible, at least $8.50 hr.
