    •Above Average Pay.
•Versatile Work (Red Coat, White Coat ect).
•You decide if you wanna work in another line if yours is done and get more hours.

    Cons

•Cold Warehouse (Pro or Con depending).
    •Long hours on your feet.

I worked at AdvancePierre Foods full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company was on a growth trajectory while I was employed there, and with growth comes opportunities. There were many opportunities for people to move up and try new roles, if they were willing to do the work.

    Cons

While I was employed, the management was trying to sell the company. In an effort to look good to investors, I think they made many decisions that were short sighted in nature and not in the best interest of the consumer, the employee or the company.

    Advice to Management

Advance Pierre was owned by an equity group and their goal is usually to line their pockets, my advice would be to them- When you buy a great company, as you make changes to that company, try to remember WHY you bought them. Culture, People, Customer Service all matter as much as profits!

    Pros

Awesome corporate culture-- lots of training available when requested. The people? Hands down the best I've ever worked with. Friendly, loyal and very dedicated to customer service.

    Cons

Senior leadership appears to be very sexual with their employees. Because there are a few leaders that have behavioral problems in this matter, I assume it is not uncommon.

One leader in particular is very sexual when he speaks at dinner engagements about "the help" and other employees (including his direct reports). This may prevalent in many corporate settings, but much more "in your face" if you work in his downline. Steer clear if you're a feminist, this department in particular may not be for you.

    Advice to Management

Appoint civilized and disciplined leaders. How they act outside of work is a reflection on how they will treat their people.

Please educate senior leaders that sexual discussion and/or content from positions of power to their direct reports and team members can skew perspectives and put subordinates into really uncomfortable states. It creates a fear environment and stifles growth. With the recent Tyson buyout, we can't afford to lose good talent due to ego.

Outline a plan of action where subordinate employees exhibit signs of sexual misconduct from senior leadership and execute without creating too much of a disturbance or loss of income for either party. Training and mentorship is always a plus and should be encouraged.
