    Pros

Relaxed, laid back work environment. Management works well with staff to make things happen to bring in new business as well as going that extra step to accommodate current clients.

    Cons

Back office and compliance seem a little short staffed and over whelmed with volume of work load.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing and continue to bring in quality performers.

    Pros

Some of the people working there are fun to be around

Management doesn't listen to employees - old school way of running the company
High turnover rate which doesn't seem to bother them, but as many know is a sign that people are not happy.
Terrible benefits - high premiums for poor quality health insurance. Limited 401K investment choices

I worked at Advantage Futures full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I enjoyed all of my colleagues. Everyone seems to treat people fairly, respectfully and I never had a problem working with anyone. Departments cross often. I had a flexible schedule, wasn't stuck to my desk. My ideas and innovations were welcomed.

    Cons

I learned a lot, but it was all self taught to advance my career. Despite great annual employee reviews I only got one raise the entire 4 years I worked for the company. When my skill set developed and my responsibility increased tremendously I was never rewarded - no title change or compensation change. They gave poor or no bonuses, don't compensate employees on their responsibilities or skill level, raises come very rarely, don't hire or promote from within hardly ever. Very high employee turnover. It is a great first job or start into the trading industry, but not a place to stay with forever if you want to develop and grow your career with a company. Benefits were minimal they were required to provide.

    Advice to Management

Compensation should be equal to the value an employee provides and their responsibilities to accomplish their job. Each employee should be treated like a forever employee, and not a temporary fixture.

    Pros

    Low-pressure work environment
    Business Casual/Casual attire
Employees are very helpful with the assignments they give you

    Cons

Definitely depended on which department you were placed in to learn anything about the company
    Sometimes given tedious projects

    Advice to Management

Make interns do meaningful tasks, not just petty projects

I have been working at Advantage Futures as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

You get to speak with multiple employees. Have an in-depth understanding of the position before starting. Direct approach that answers all questions promptly.

    Cons

There was a lot of down time if you had nothing to do. Otherwise, the learning curve was steep at times.
