    Pros

Liked my job and the people.

    Cons

Pile on the work. Unfair hourly wages hard to get good raises even if you are top employee. With good reviews. New hires come in making more an hour.

    Advice to Management

Don't forget the ones that got you where you are. Blame upper management and BDMs, buyers, office junkies in Arkansas for sinking the ship.

I worked at Advantage Solutions part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Lots of merchandise leftovers to take home

    Cons

Training online process was a nightmare, never able to get ahold of the company, supervisor often didnt respond in a timely manner, unprofessional, if they didnt have the product you were demo-ing in stock they still expect to you to stand there and do an "educational event" which was ridiculous. Carts were always broken and having issues and you are basically left to just figure things out.

I have been working at Advantage Solutions full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Decent benefits, Holiday schedule-and vacation time.
Room to grow if you "play the game" know the right people.
Great clients-and fun atmosphere for people persons!
Fairly decent code of ethics(this is also a con-see below)
In comparison to other marketing companies some what better expectations-and schedules if you are FT.
If you happen to work on a team with great management-you can really enjoy this job.
If you perform well you will become favored-and occasional get cut some slack if you have family emergency or need to take time off.

    Cons

Very low pay-in comparison to the expectations of output. High performers often get shafted in pay-or told about incentives, but dont receive them- sometimes it seems like the management uses this as a way to get teams to deliver-then company does not pay out.
Even 4-5 star employees do not get regular raises. (this has to change-or you will keep loosing the good -dedicated employees.
You can be in your position for over 10 years and only get 30 cents raise. This is a disgrace!

The code of ethics and 5 pillars are a great and I believe most of the employees implement them in day to day tasks- but it is way too easy for management to do shady things and get away with it- The favoritism has gotten out of hand and there has to be a way to curb this trend.

You get very little to nothing in vehicle reimbursements and the wear and tear on your car is just not compensated well enough- most employees are loosing money and paying out of pocket for cars they generally only use for work.

You are required to do administrative tasks at home-store displays- sometimes roomfuls -fill your car up every day and have that available during store calls however most employees are not considered telecommuters and therefore loos up to 2 hours a day in driving to the first store and from the last store- in addition you are not compensated mileage for the drive even though you are caring product-displays-or equipment for the company. You will in no way be allowed to rent a storage space and expense it. The company basically wants you to eat the cost.

    Advice to Management

Please start giving employees yearly raises based on performance. It is possible to treat all of your employees better-not just a few because it is in the budget for a few cents for 1 or 2 a year.

Please provide a better vehicle reimbursement package. You will continue to have churn and burn if you do not do something to change the amount of money reimbursed for mileage-wear and tear on car etc. We cant keep paying out of our pockets to keep clients happy.

Have better transparency on policy's-many policies say - check with your supervisor - this means the supervisor can say or do whatever they want-even if it is not policy.

Please give better training to management- on policy.

Promotion-opportunity for advancement are claims made by the company-however there is no formal programs to train or get those potential promo-table employees on the right track for advancement. It seems in recent years only the younger new-comers get on the fast track to promotions.
