    I worked at Advantage Solutions part-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Fairly flexible and the supervisors only contact you when they need something from you. So do your job and you don't get bothered.

    Cons

    No benefits, No raises, tons of mailings come to the house so you turn into a storage shed. Difficult to get ahold of supervisors when needed. You have to drive all over the place for VERY little reimbursement. Since you only get paid the time it takes you to do a job, if you are a fast and efficient employee and get the job done faster, you just lost pay. But, if you are a slow worker and take alot of breaks and talk throughout the job, you are actually at the job site longer and so you get paid more. Efficiency doesn't pay here.

    Advice to Management

    Work harder to keep good employees. The occasional raise, or opportunity for a better gig within the company goes a long way when it comes to keeping good employees. Hiring new employees at higher wages than long term employees that never receive raises probably isn't the best way to keep employees. Answer the phone or return phone calls in a timely manner.

    Pros

    Flexibility, working alone, benefits, paid holidays, M-F job, family oriented supervisor

    Cons

    There are no opportunities for raises or promotions, salary is low (24k), communication is slow, traveling 500+miles per week, having to have special allowances on your auto insurance making your premiums go up by $300+, having your living room turn into a storage shed since they mail every single thing to you in separate mailings, constantly taking on projects for other teams

    Pros

    Nice environment your own schedule for the most part. depending on client representation some bus. Trips . Hectic and long hours but can be worked around personal events and needs depends on position pressure comes from within and from client. Teamwork and training from coworkers willing to share their time.

    Cons

    Not paying fairly across the board same salary per position wide gaps and retaining talent treating male employees w higher pay paying outsiders better than promotions from with in .eat sleep think client hard to turn it off at end of day. Take advantage of hard work with no reward. 1% raises if that . Direct manager has no ability with out approval from their manager.

    Advice to Management

    Share salary ranges from compensation dept and pay hard working talent with a fair wage under paid compared to the outside field . Its great that company is expanding but doesn't trickle down to the little people. Overall depends on your immediate personnel surroundings of the management team.

    not early bird or late owl time, not much pressure and kind of fun job except the cons!

    Cons

    working every single weekend, cooking and preparing food more than advertising and talking about the products, low payment, carrying and set up a heavy desk on every single event, no benefit at all.

    too much detail on wearing dress code, giving boneses or bbenefit , not enough hours

    Not good for a sole source of income, and it's hard on your feet.

    Sometimes you don't get to work because the company will drop are demos and they won't give you a new one and you lose hours and you get a shiti pay check.

    Very steady paced, every day is different and some demos are fun to do.

    Cons

    Scheduling staffing, last minute work orders communication inside the company is bad.
