I have been working at Advantage xPO full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Talent is offered a decent health insurance plan with reasonable deductible and good coverage overall for tests, procedures, surgery and preventative care.

    Cons

There is no vacation, personal time off or holiday pay that is compensated or paid for by Advantage X P O for talent.

    Advice to Management

Should offer a gradual accrual of vacation, personal/paid time off and holiday pay that is compensated by Advantage X P O for talent.

I have been working at Advantage xPO full-time

    Pros

Knowledgeable staff. Flexible hours. Relaxed work environment. Supervisors do not micromanage. Opportunity to be involved in different projects to keep the job fresh. Management is happy to mentor if you do seek help. So long as you put in some effort, you should be successful.

    Cons

Limited opportunities for advancement but the company does promote from within whenever something becomes available.

I worked at Advantage xPO full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Paycheck and flexible working conditions ( work from home and in office)

    Cons

Worked in the Chicago office for a few years (2.5). In my time, over 30 people left the office. Management doesn't seem to care. Recruiting Coordinators do the same job as Recruiters but paid significantly less. Lots of drama and gossip about people. To top it of the "Manager" likes to tell confidential information to her subordinates about others in the office. The VP works out of the office and will not acknowledge you. No room for growth.

    Advice to Management

Retention and new management would be the ideal scenario. However, its been this way for years and HR is aware of the issue. Maybe need to look at the whole structure.

I worked at Advantage xPO full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Besides the decent amount of overtime and good cafeteria food their was not a lot pros at the company, the company really needs to improve that.

    Cons

Supervisors want you to go over the required production numbers in order to impress higher level of management. After continuously getting overproduction they will not give a pay raise or they will give you a .33 cent pay raise.

    Advice to Management

Pay more or help employees get hired on at Michelin.

I worked at Advantage xPO full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They pull the wool over your eyes and get you in quick

    Cons

Now that you are hired you are tricked.

Poor Health Coverage no follow up by Management if you get your cards, enrollment and post enrollment.
Match your salary, throw in OT like a treat and "Bonus" is a joke
    NO Work to Life Balance
Management is unprofessional, they should take a closer look at their leaders this isn't kindergarten.
Use a lot of illegal tactics for termination

    Advice to Management

Pick a better pool of professionals to work for you on the Executive Level.

    Pros

Good long term assignments. Not to much else going for them.

    Cons

Management at all levels was severely lacking and disorganized. It is my opinion that this is what caused the loss of contract at the facility

    Advice to Management

Vet your management for the propper skills before hiring. Have yearly reviews. Where I was located was extremely disorganized. The hiring process was in shambles.

    Pros

responds quickly to questions and emails

    Cons

incorrect information when hired as to locations for background check/fingerprinting, no one is "in charge" of you (i.e., someone to always go to if you have a question or a problem at the company you are contracted for )- you get passed around, denied unemployment when contract ended and no new work was found, did nothing about problems with company I was contracted for even though Randstad did for their contractors that I worked with.

    Advice to Management

Care more, get involved, and stick up for your contractors. You are a a staffing agency. I've worked with numerous ones as a temp/contractor, and by far the worst experience I had was under your company.
