From the first moment I interviewed, even by phone, I could clearly distinguish a team of professionals that fully understand that our role in healthcare is a sacred trust; a calling. The process from phone to in-person interview to job offer was smooth and simple. From CEO to managers to staff in all domains, you can truly sense authenticity, compassion and real connections to each other and the care of the community.

Advent health helps with your scheduled. They care for its employers. They’re very understanding. Great atmosphere. Good benefits, help with your education.

My colleagues are like family for now that keeps me there.
Cons
Unsafe nursing numbers. Often working 3-4 nurses short and no ancillary support. Things are going to get missed that will cause harm to patients and the leaders do not care. Our current leaders never help with care or ensure we have safe patient care. They require more and more but staff don’t stay because the leaders are rude condescending and uncaring.

Worried more about numbers than actual patient care /safety. If census low you might get told to go home without pay or have to use your PTO time.

Patient care and co workers that actually work with patients. Now that our “leader” is on vacation things are not so tense here at work.

Management, leadership, poor communication and the pay could be better (but it is Florida) I have a manager that’s never around, and like half a dozen leaders leave/forced out this year alone.”.
