Management at all levels is clueless.

    Advice to Management

"All hands on deck" means yours included. How about you learn how to do your subordinates jobs before you dictate how it should be done?

    Pros

Had not even had the opportunity to start!

    Cons

Lack of transparency related to hiring practices

    Advice to Management

Non-Profit doesn't mean you are not in the business to make money. Your building is very visible. You are building and working in a Taj Mahal. And yet you rescind job offers two days before a candidate is to start work after you have asked them to leave prior employment. Not only is this unprofessional, it is unethical. And is this Christ-like Compassion?

I have been working at AdventHealth Tampa part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You can pick your own days, overtime.

    Cons

Management expects you do do everything with a smile on your face.

    Advice to Management

They say to do what you can. But where does that leave the patients? When I go to floors sometimes, I'm the ONLY Tech there. They expect you to do everything and still stand on the statement of the hospital. How can we do that when there's barely any staff? That's why there's so many complaints. And if we get in trouble for that, then we have to be specked about it with the rules and regulations. Because they expect you to work hard and 'do what you can' instead of finding out how to fix the problem. I wouldn't recommend anyone working at float pool, because management will be smiles at first, but on the inside they are cold. I have no advice for them. As long as they continue to be around, it's going to get worse.

I have been working at AdventHealth Tampa part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Flexible schedule. Our new manager is super awesome!

    Cons

The units we go to can be very extreme. The urn over rate is very high so typically the floor you’ll go to will no have enough staff . It gets very difficult because the hospital requires you to do a lot.

    Advice to Management

Stop thinking so much from a business standpoint and take into consideration the workload of the staff. Walk in ou shoes for a day so you can see how crazy i gets.
