Flexible, transparent, diverse, respectful work environment. I feel like my voice counts and I have the opportunity to grow and further my knowledge in technology.

Startup companies can have some ups and downs but I love the ride!

+ Great people and atmosphere. + Since it is a small company you know which part of the machine you are and how you can influence the bigger goal.

Cons

- Even though Advertima is a rather small company its offices are at multiple locations. This makes working together a bit difficult.

- You get to work on complex computer vision problems, so there is a lot of room to learn and grow - You can have a big impact on all sorts of projects if you show initiative and get involved in them - Flexible hours and good company understanding about non-work-related problems - Access to lots of GPUs (always nice for DL) - Development budget is nice to keep learning and attend top CV conferences (CVPR, ECCV, ICCV) - The team is talented and smart - Transperency across the company - Easy to approach any person in the company (even CEO) to discuss your concerns and try to solve the problems

- Miscommunication between business and engineering , which can lead different priorities - The engineering team is small given the size of the projects

- An amazing team with a great working culture where you can do your best work alongside talented and motivated colleagues. - At Advertima the best idea always wins: it doesn't matter if you are an intern or the CEO, if you have something important to say, people will listen! - A culture of trust and flexibility: no fixed working hours, home office and remote work possibilities, unlimited vacation (within reason), opportunity to work from different offices in Europe. - You can take over responsibility fast and have a real impact on the company and products. The level of impact you can have in this company is unrivaled from anything I have seen so far.

- It is a start-up environment where things can change often and fast - It is a distributed company where quite a few meetings are video calls.

- working on state of the art problems in machine learning and computer vision - working with a very talented team of engineers that are super easy to get along with - very flexible working hours - very easy to keep growing in the Advertima environment due to the many challenges that need to be tackled

- Due to the rapid growth and fast work pace, there has been quite some accumulation of technical debt that needs to be dealt with - The distribution of the team across multiple locations can be challenging at times
