I have been working at Advocare part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Products work and are life changing, the doctors are highly reputable.

    Cons

Many leaders contradict what they teach. If you're not their top seller in the moment, you're relationship doesn't exist. Then when you make any progress, they want ro be beat frienda again. This not the company's standard of treatment, but it does happen. Too often.

    Advice to Management

Be real and remember the guiding principles. And remember that people who aren't in Advocare or who are in but are not climbing the ladder as fast as you'd like, are still deserving of being treated with integrity and care for who they are. Be kind.

I worked at Advocare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great staff and awesome coworkers, everyone got along great and it’s nice to go into work with people you enjoy working with. Drug reps sometimes come in with free food and lunches.

    Cons

Salary isn’t the best at all and the raises weren’t very good. Lunch breaks are half hour. You don’t get bonuses.

    I worked at Advocare full-time

    Pros

None that I am aware of.

    Cons

AdvoCare is a Multi Level Marketing company that tries to pretend they are focused on helping people. Prepare to waste a lot of money and be brain washed should you choose to work for them. The products are overrated, costly, and require paying shipping when you could walk into any store and save your money. The events are amazing at convincing you to buy more product, guilt you into annoying everyone you know about AdvoCare because, ' you might be the reason a family doesn't have a better life if you don't preach about AdvoCare,' and convince you that you HAVE to buy a ticket right away for the next event...that's never a good sign and I feel duped. I blew $500 without making a dime or enjoying the products and am now trying to crawl out of debt. The success school tickets are non refundable, which I didn't realize, so I have to eat the cost or try to sell the ticket to another poor soul that I'd rather keep from this scam. Save your money and find a real job! ;)

I worked at Advocare part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

No holidays and weekend off, affordable dental and vision insurance

    Cons

No respect for staff, prohibitively expensive health insurance, no room for growth, no support for clinical staff (i.e. Educational opportunities, no assistance with payment for certifications, licensure)
Management lies to partner physicians regarding personnel relations so they look better and do not suffer consequences for their unethical and often illegal actions, you will be black balled if you leave and the head physician will make up lies about why you left, different rules for different staff members, retaliation if you speak out

    Advice to Management

    Treat your staff with respect
