I have been working at Aegis full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The training is pretty easy to fly through and it's mostly to help new hires familiarize with the programs agents must use. Many tenure agents are pretty knowledgeable and are willing to share tips. People do get hired from within. Some agents will help you through in between phone calls.

    Cons

Instead of supervisors playing favoritism/helping the better agents to grow, help all other agents because not everyone learn at the same pace.

    Advice to Management

Help agents balance personal life and work.

I have been working at Aegis full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are no pros to working with this company.

    Cons

The cons to working with this company are: Poor leadership (management) - no one knows what is going on and things are constantly changing. No insurance benefits until you work with the company for 6 months which is nearly impossible considering if you don't make your quotas you will be out the door in a month or 2, then the medical benefits do not meet the requirements set by the Obama administration so you have to purchase outside medical benefits to meet the requirements. Pay is poor for the amount of work you are expected to do and you cannot depend on your schedule to be consistent. Asking for time off is like pulling teeth. I personally had a surgical procedure that I requested time off for a month in advance of the surgery and was still denied the 2 days off needed. No one knows what is going on in this company. Leadership is not consistent with how things are done and if you do something wrong in your job, no one tells you so you can educate yourself and do the right thing going forward. Leadership/management has favorites, so if you are a favorite you will go far. If not, you will be out of the door. Very poor company to work for and I would not suggest this employer to ANYONE!! Not even my enemies.

    Advice to Management

Ask your employees how well management is doing. Like a survey every couple of months or so.

    Cons

    Leadership

    Advice to Management

I worked at Aegis full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Working at Aegis taught me how to work with clients and provide excellent customer service. Anything that I may have lacked in was retaught in training.

    Cons

The con about the job was that they did not honor any excuse absents of sickness.

    Advice to Management

What I would advise to management is to allow excuse absents to be approved because there are things that people cant stop in life from happening.

I worked at Aegis full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I worked in four different campaigns (companies) while working with regions. I have acquired so much knowledge and am able to add each experience to my resume. I made a lot of friends which created a fun working environment for me and it definitely was an exciting place to work.

    Cons

No raises. Can be very unorganized. Managers aren't well qualified, You get two 15 min breaks and a 30 min lunch each work day. Most campaigns require you to work weekends. Expensive and crappy benefits. No sales commission. It's hard to promote and the pay isn't worth all of the extra work.

    Advice to Management

Set good examples for you team.
