I have been working at Aegis Sciences Corp full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

None now. Even if you get hired it will probably be short term.

    Cons

Investment company bought out Aegis and forced out CEO and founder. The founder took very good care of his employees. The investment company only wants to pump up the bottom line in preparation for resale and could care less about the employees.

    Advice to Management

Remember employees have families to raise and bills to pay and they are not cattle.

    Pros

Great Benefits and Pay and the morale overall seems pretty high. Everyone seemed happy with their current positions

    Cons

No organization within the FEPL department. Im not sure if it was because i was hired around their peak season or not. Its seems like they were very unorganized due to a lack of staff in the department.

I have been working at Aegis Sciences Corp full-time

    Pros

Aegis is a very solid company and they are typically a very ethical company. You can make a good living with Aegis.

    Cons

They are in a bit of transition mode. The CEO listed below (David Black - also the founder) is out and an equity group is making decisions now.

    Advice to Management

The changes in leadership has left some people feeling uneasy and the communication needs to be better distributed throughout the organization.

I have been working at Aegis Sciences Corp full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Q1 Bonus potential, with promised raises by Q3. Coworkers help keep the environment positive and fun. Lots of PTO

    Cons

Annual bonuses and raises were apart of my employment package but after the recent CMS rulings, budget cuts have completely taken those incentives off the table. The executive leadership team is jumping ship. Investment partners are strictly about bottom line, employee satisfaction is not on their radar. Christmas "bonus" was a $20 Amazon card. Not sure how much longer Aegis will be around.

    Advice to Management

Career development, unless you work in the lab there is no place to go unless someone quits or retires. Performance incentive plans for exempt/non-exempt employees might boost morale. WE3 program a bust, people congratulating others for just showing up and doing their job.

I worked at Aegis Sciences Corp full-time

    Pros

Pay is decent, especially right out of college. You can accrue a good amount of PTO. Flexible scheduling if you have a doctor appointment, car trouble, etc.

    Cons

Sometimes the volume of work is so great that you could work 12+ hours a day, and it still wouldn't be enough. Disorganization and lack of communication make everything way more complicated than need be. Repetitive work. Bonuses and raises had been eliminated until further notice.

    Advice to Management

The favoritism is painfully obvious, and it really does lower morale. Quality work often goes unnoticed/unrecognized which gives hard workers less incentive to try.

I worked at Aegis Sciences Corp (Less than a year)

    Pros

I was long given the opportunity to determine and execute my weekly "To-Do" list without any micromanagement. All necessary tools and materials were also provided without hesitation....

    Cons

... all of which disappeared. "Candy Crush" isn't a job description.

The entire healthcare industry is currently in flux, which means "earnings restatements" (not unlike those issued by businesses prior to 2008) may occasionally show up in your corporate e-mail alerts.

Don't expect many corporate freebies to be handed out in the foreseeable future.

    Advice to Management

Management would be wise to acknowledge and accept the above-stated fact, doff the golf bags and bowling balls, get back to work - albeit without blaming employees for the inconvenience.
(Just as employees don't need to get disgruntled that they are no longer getting the bonuses they may have become accustomed to.)

I have been working at Aegis Sciences Corp full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

You get 4 weeks paid vacation

    Cons

Management shows extreme favoritism, no more bonuses, expects more than any human can possibly do, management doesn't even know how to do nor help do the tasks they are asking who is under them to do. I have seen a company that was great go to crap. Most employees that have been there more than 3 years have quit and went to better companies. People that just started don't really last more than a month or two before they quit.

    Advice to Management

Try to do what you ask of others.

    Pros

Excellent staff and pharmacy team. Highly ethical organization with focus.

    Cons

Difficult billing practices and commission adjustments of late due to new guidelines within organization and CMS.

    Advice to Management

Improve support to Regional Sales Managers
