    I can not think of anything positive to say regarding my time as an employee of Aegon Corporation

    Cons

    Upper management has total disregard for employees, their concerns, and their situations

    Advice to Management

    Try working in the trenches with everyone else to get a hands-on experience as to how employees are truly treated in the way-to-large corporation

    Pros

    Since my last year of employment in 2010, it sounds like they are more open to work from home positions. Benefits are good.

    Cons

    Pay. For as much as they make, AEGON/Transamerica can afford to pay their administrative staff more. Not a lot of career opportunities.

    Thorough training for representatives even without having their Series License

    Cons

    Quality Assurance Call measurement matrix prevents you to meet goal. Very picky on the their monitoring of calls (ex. Saying the same # of pleases and thank you's throughout the call.)
    Call after call after call.. job tends to be redundant and lack of growth

    Advice to Management

    Give more positive feedback on call monitoring than negative.

    Pros

    Nice office, good gym, 5 a football side pitches, generally 'secure' roles. Canteen, Meeting rooms, car park, accessible to city.

    Cons

    Poor wages, bullying managers - performance improvement bullying techniques, managers who are not managers, poor leadership, HR policy laden - Scottish Equitable was much better an employer.

    Advice to Management

    Training, pay levels improved.
