I have been working at AeroComputers full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I just started here about six months ago and already I feel like part of the family. Almost all of the current employees were hand-picked by founder Mark Gassaway, who unfortunately passed in March. Mark was a great guy and the people he brought into the company are great too. It's a very warm and friendly place to work, and people are encouraged to do what they're good at or find interesting rather than force them to fill a specific niche.

Our product is very cool and does so much to help airborne law enforcement and firefighters do their jobs. I'm never bored on the job and it feels like I'm doing the world some good making their work easier.

    Cons

None so far, except for a lack of documentation on procedures, which we are working to remedy.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing, the company is headed in a great direction.

    Pros

For folks that are loved and adored Zero Point Zero accountability.
Low expectations, good gig to get paid for not doing your job...

    Cons

For folks that can see though the BS and have a brain.
You'll be miserable from day one working like crazy while others do nothing all day long.
It won't take long to figure out the method of operation here...

    Advice to Management

Dump the view of just putting a body in a seat...don't justify to yourself that "well we will find them the right job that they will excel at..." Hold people accountable that don't do their jobs.... after verbal and written warnings, then show them the door... It's all about accountability folks.

For those that do actually work...
Let people do their jobs without micromanaging folks (very few...)
Stop the meetings where there is no objective or ANY decisions that come out of them.
Big waste of time and it's just a Ego Booster for the GM to JUSTIFY his job and existence with this nonsense...
