I worked at Aerosoles part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This was my first job out of college and I really enjoyed working here. I was a sales associate for about 2 years and I met a lot of nice people during my time here. My coworkers became a work family and it made selling shoes to people a lot easier.
Pros: Proper training (ie: Register, Shoe Collections, customer service etiquette)
Personal growth (ie. learned how to confidently communicate with customers)
    Great work staff
Rewards for achievements if company goals were met.

    Cons

    Cons
    - Little pay
    - A lot of staff turnover within company especially in corporate
    - Not a lot of room for advancement within the company.
    - Limited workload and no pay raise when given more responsibilities (ie. Doing returns/exchanges)

    Advice to Management

Offer full-time sales associate positions. More incentives if company goals are met. More advancement opportunities.

I worked at Aerosoles part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The store is small so there is not much to clean. All employees get to know each other very well.

    Cons

You do not work on commission and get paid minimum wage. If you do not meet the high sales quotas they take you off the schedule. They never actually fire you they take you off the schedule for many weeks until you stop calling then will file the paperwork.I saw them do this to many employees.

    Pros

    Easy and friendly environment.
    Manger and co-workers are great!
    Fast-paced environment.

    Cons

Wish it was commission based but it is not.
Send sales, oracles orders are kind of confusing in the beginning.

    Advice to Management

Please don't treat your sales associates badly. Never experienced that but a little less superiority over roles would be nice.

I have been working at Aerosoles (More than a year)

    Pros

Relaxed environment. Employee discount is 50% off of the retail price

    Cons

The scheduling is horrible. The hours can vary from 26 one week to 7 the next. You're paycheck can fluctuation to a unreliable amount. You will be overworked some days with 8 hour shifts. There is hardly any growth for promotion.

    Advice to Management

    Teach and schedule accordingly

I have been working at Aerosoles part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Schedule flexibility, good benefits, comfortable shoes for older customers, nice pay, customers are nice. Easy job to collect a paycheck.

    Cons

Working with young incompetent people who doesn't take the job seriously. Management plays favoritism to certain associates. If you want just a paycheck with no worries come here! Job is laid back and easy. Management is unorganized and messy. Outlets are the worst, retail stores is nice to work in. DM is the worst.

    Advice to Management

Hire experienced managers, associates who will take the job seriously not just getting a paycheck.

I have been working at Aerosoles part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

50% off for sales associates. . Customers are generally friendly and polite. In the world of retail selling shoes definitely beats folding t shirts

    Cons

Retail is a con in its self. But ofcourse there are so many more cons when it comes to feat. Aerosoles are known for their "fashionable yet comfortable" forward so clearly they attract older women more than younger ones. This meaning you may need to help them out their shoes on or take them off for them on occasion.

    Advice to Management

    Management should be more organized

I worked at Aerosoles (More than a year)

    Pros

    Employee Discount. Fun sales incentives.

    Cons

This is, by far, the worse place I have ever worked. All of their scheduling was done by sales goal, and there were weeks I was top sales, and still only had 4 hours of work for the whole week. Every of my fellow coworkers experienced this as well. While there were people who worked there for years starving for less than 20 hours, and yet new people were constantly being hired. The upper management is completely out of touch with reality, and had they treated their employees better, their turnover rate would have been significantly better.

    Advice to Management

Care more about your staff, as they are the ones who are carrying your company by giving them a livable amount of hours.
