What are your colleagues talking about?
- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
Great company to work for.
Cons
Really fast pace to get used too.
- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
The thing that stood out most was how management would listen to your concerns. If you dont like the current job, finish it and something new was around the corner. Always new adventure just waiting around the corner.
Cons
Always a new adventure waiting around the corner. If you want to do the same thing everyday this is not the place for you.

Fair Pay CEO is Fantastic positive work environment
Cons
HR processes were put together by a lawyer to protect the company. They talk a good game about it being for your protection but I saw many people walked out with no warning sometimes with police escort off the property
- Former Employee★★★★★

Do Not Work Here (Especially Women)
Aug 10, 2021 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
You will develop strong bonds with the other employees who have to suffer with you.
Cons
I struggled to make this review for so long because it seems like all of the bad reviews for this company some how disappear and all of the good ones are clearly fake. At this point I feel like I should at least try. This is the worst place I've ever worked in my life. I had better managers at McDonalds as a high schooler. - The training is terrible and then they expect you to be able to be on-call for emergencies and handle things alone after only a month or two of working there. - If you are female you will basically be treated like a second class citizen. Every single female that I worked with during my time time here was either fired or quit. - COO basically has a god complex and thinks he can do and say whatever he wants because he is a part owner. He has 0 respect for anyone that works for him and refuses to take any constructive feedback. - They will not pay you what you're worth and will come up with ridiculous reasons why you don't deserve a raise or the bonus. For reference, I have never not received a raise or bonus anywhere else I've ever worked. - Zero work life balance. They expect you to have your email on your phone and answer it at all times. - HR will not help you. They know who signs their checks and will not help employees. - Employees were a revolving door. No one seems to stay for too long and they fired people so often you always felt like you were next in line. - Do not be fooled by the cool airplanes and nice demeanor during your interview. Everything changes the second you walk in on your first day.

Great Company, andGreat People
Jan 22, 2019 - Anonymous Employee in Dallas, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Awesome company, great people, and really enjoyed working with the senior leadership team. I truly enjoyed my years at AQRD.
Cons
At the time the office was small but know they had plans to expand. My only issue was working shoulder to shoulder. Like I said, I know they had plans to get more space which would be the best solution to my issue.

Pros
Lots of variety in daily work assignments, tuition assistance, competitive time off policies and compensation incentives. The company has increased their contribution to employee benefits each of the past two years. Also, they continue to shop for good benefits and provide employees options on plans which may be elected by the employee based on what best fits their individual needs.
Cons
Not really a con. The company is fast paced and relies on its team members for contributions needed to keep its customers flying.
- Current Employee★★★★★
Caution: Work here at your own risk!
Jan 4, 2018 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
What they are doing in the aviation world is awesome. You get to work on some cool projects and meet some pretty neat people. Good networking opportunity.
Cons
- They have a revolving door of employees but maintain between 25-35 employees. - They expect a minimum of 50+ hours a week and use an incentive of yearly bonus to make the job seem appealing but behind closed doors the COO has a detailed list of mistakes however minor they might be (example- not copying in co-worker on irrelevant email) and at the end of the year they use these as examples why you do not receive the UP TO 10% raise and it was only 4 or 5%. - There is a difference between male and female employees and treatment. - Camera's everywhere and they monitor them daily. Always feel like it’s a "caught ya" environment. - The COO throws tantrums and will walk past you completely ignoring you and making the environment awkward to work in. - Retribution and retaliation are the keys to COO management style. - Because they have a revolving door of employee's the COO likes to keep everyone on their toes and does not encourage team like environment. He would prefer if employees do not frequent lunch or any gatherings together unless they are set up and organized by management. - COO prides himself on his employees walking into work and not knowing if they will be fired that day. Even when you know you have not done anything wrong and you are exceeding expectations. It is a high stress and very little to no reward except the bonus that you are reminded of that they so reluctantly give to you. (This is the only incentive to keep people working for them) - There is a 30 minute response time on all communication with customers regardless of time of day. If 30 minutes is not met you will be hammered for your lack of professionalism and not holding to company standards. Example if you are grocery shopping it is expected you carry your laptop and cellphone at all times. You are expected to stop grocery shopping and go to your car to address company issues or pull over on the side of the highway to handle company business. This is after working hours and regardless if you are on call. On call matters can be sent to on call person but normal business communication needs to be addressed within 30 min -ZERO work life balance. It is not recognized within the office that you have a life or family outside of AQRD. -PTO is approved but then used against you later. Very little actual days off. -HR is questionable and her loyalty is to the COO. She will report everything regardless of the nature to him.

Driven, Innovative, and Invested
Jan 7, 2020 - Administrative in Addison, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
AQRD is a fast-growing company that puts people first and provide quality solutions for its customers. AQRD has a strong culture of collaboration where every level of the company interacts and works together to achieve goals. AQRD invests in its employees by providing access to growth opportunities, hosting monthly team building events, and good benefits.
Cons
Because of its size and continued growth people need to be comfortable wearing multiple hats and being flexible to change with evolving systems.
- Current Contractor, more than 10 years★★★★★
Pros
The staff at AQRD is made of a team that works very well together, with extremely positive attitudes. They are creative, and do their best to ensure their product has very high quality as well as ensuring customer schedules are met. They are in a great position for growth.
Cons
Dallas traffic is about the only con with working for this company, but I'm not used to large city traffic.
