I have been working at Aerotek full-time

    Pros

A lot of entry level positions with growth potential - work hard and you can be promoted to other departments and positions.

    Cons

Some of the back office leaders (AR Team) are a little inexperienced. Upper management sometimes promote BOA's into leadership roles a little too soon. Some of the accounts are too advanced for entry level associates. Great culture, people are friendly.

    Advice to Management

Wouldn't hurt to consider hiring outside Aerotek for some of the back office leadership roles and hire more experienced associates for some of the more complex accounts. Some of the accounts are really tedious and could use someone who has patience and care. There used to be a good work-life balance but now associates are expected to work overtime when necessary. Health insurance needs improvement.

    Pros

NONE.. This job scam will eventually self destruct. Have a nice addiction.

    Cons

Yes they are cons,, very poor communication, very unprofessional,. This is not at all a job but a temp scam, they will short you on paychecks after already taking more than a 50% profit, use you up and throw you away (terminated)... Get any other "job" elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

Step away from the crackpipe and stop drinking on the job... Enjoy your next DUI.
. Try your experiment on your own family and friends.

I worked at Aerotek full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Intensive training - 13 weeks
Opportunity to learn and grow if going into sales
If you're placed with a good Account Manager who cares about you personally and professionally, you will do well

    Cons

Limited career pathways to take unless you choose to go into sales
No work/life balance - required to work at least 48 hours a week but even when you work that much, it is still looked down upon and they want you to work 55+ hours per week to be successful
Unrealistic performance expectations and high level of demand and pressure
Unrealistic commission threshold (most recruiters in my office weren't making commission even after a year of being there)
People who leave are badmouthed about why they left the company
    High turnover
    Cult like culture
Promotes "honest and open culture" but results in high level of gossip about others and office politics

    Advice to Management

If you're looking to retain your employees, then promote work/life balance. Being so process and metrics driven will drain the life out of your employees.

I worked at Aerotek full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I met a few friends at Aerotek. It's hard not to build relationships with the people you work with when you live in the office.

    Cons

Treated like an object not a person, motivate by fear, promotions are based off politics, and if youre struggling filling a req, management will be the first to belittle you in front of the office during meetings. Employees just black out on weekends because thats the only way to cope with the tyrants that run the place. And I hope you love working from home too, because that is a non negotiable. They also get less qualified candidates excited/interview for roles just to be a "guinea pig" to speed up the process when companies want to see other candidates.

    Advice to Management

Place people into management positions that havent held leadership positions in that past. Your higher management is ruining the culture of your office, and no, having a beer on a friday will not "Increase" office moral. There is a reason people are leaving every week.

    Pros

You will really have a great experience working with Aerotek if you value the company of like-minded professionals and hard work. You will spend a lot of time at the office as a recruiter & account manager, but it will pay off if you work hard.

    Cons

There can certainly be a high degree of office politics.

    Advice to Management

Loosen up the strict office schedule requirements and focus more on performance.
