      Pros

Great people, great training, great entry level opportunity to get into recruiting and sales. If you are successful you will make more here than about anywhere else. Performing Recruiters are making $55k-$75k. Great Recruiters are making $100k+. Every large office has salespeople making $200k-$400k. Culture is 100% committed and generally cool type-A's you would want to have a beer with. The skills, drive, and sense of urgency you learn at Aerotek serve you well anywhere you may go later.

      Cons

If you are just looking for a low-commitment 8-5 job while posting on social media about where you are partying that night...you will not like Aerotek. Success requires an all in approach both in work ethic and active support of the culture. That is not for everyone. There are Political Science grads 3 years out of college making $200k+, but there is a price to be paid. All the tough work comes first. If you are not up for the level of work and commitment, Aerotek is not for you. If you are, none of this is really a "con" As far a real cons go, the benefits are only OK, and finding work/life balance is pretty difficult.

      Pros

Great work culture. Great training. Opportunity to make a lot of money with little experience

      Cons

Not a career company. Moving performance targets after each successful year make it difficult to succeed year after year.

      Micromanage your brains out!

      Pros

Great training program for people with little to no experience.

      Cons

Hours are horrible start every morning at 7:15 am and leave around 6 pm. The location in Columbia is surrounded only with upper class and high scale restaurants and living conditions so you will be commuting to Columbia. Micromanage you and will not allow upward mobility for at least the first year. There is also a huge disproportion of diversity between 3 major offices in the state to only have 3 african americans operating is unacceptable. Your surrounded by Howard University as well as Morgan State but yet your offices are filled with Salisbury and Stevenson Alumni as well as UMD. For some of these schools your recruiting from your willingly going by HBCU's and targeting predominately white institutions. You will not be appreciated or have clarity as to where you stand in this organization until you are gone or one of the higher ups which only 1 of every 15 people become.

      Pros

Gain valuable experience, great training and meet lifelong friends

      Cons

Racist company. Pay structure is terrible. Promotions are based off friendships, not merit.

Great place to start if your office is meeting it's metrics.

      Pros

Great training, great people, fun/competitive environment, exposure to multiple industries and great ATS tools. If you are a recent grad and want to experience a company culture and learn how to be professional over phone and email then this is the best place to start. great for 6 months to 18 months.

      Cons

Same issues as all other staffing agencies "uncapped commission" always means your KPIs will never be "good enough". in other words: Carrot and stick mentality, just when you reach new heights, the stick gets longer and the carrot doesn't get much bigger. Management tries to create a good culture of support and competition, but that requires good people to stay, feed into this good culture, and challenge each other, this takes high levels of trust and is a lot of work. This is risky, as the best people carry the weight of both their own high performance and the high emotional labor of pushing others to get to the same level. Its a domino affect once those best people leave.

      Great stepping stone

      Pros

Great training for someone entering new into staffing. You’re held to track metrics such as 60-80 calls per week, 10 interviews, 10 candidate submittals while maintaining at least $6k-8k in what they call spread which is calculated by how many employees you have on a job. There are a lot of people in the company who have been here for many years so it works for many people.

      Cons

For someone who’s been in staffing for I would not recommend. Extended promotional timelines and limited promotional opportunities. If you don’t like or don’t want to work in a call center Then this isn’t for you. If you don’t want to track every email, phone call, attempted phone, conversation, etc into a system where anyone in the company can see your logs and metrics then this isn’t for you.
