      Pros

You really do get to work with some amazing people and it’s a great way to gain experience whether that be in recruiting or in sales.

      Cons

Overall the job itself is very stressful. You work very long hours. You recruit primarily on entry level low paying roles and as recruiters you don’t get much say in the roles you recruit on. There’s a lot of people here that also play into our fears of losing our job which forces people to fake metrics just to make their bosses happy with their performance. If you admit to struggling either as a recruiter or an account manager you get met with a sink or swim attitude from all leaders that initially pretend to have your back and to be your best friend. This job is not for most people but if you’re like myself and needing to gain experience as well as get paid a decent wage then give this place a chance I guess. But also on top of that they cut our base pay by 10K and made it harder to hit yearly goals (contest) which makes it harder to see any type of pay increase.

      Pros

The people at Aerotek genuinely care for you and your goals. You will be pushed but you will reach your goals because of it. The team environment and company culture makes this a great company to work for.

      Cons

You will be working long hours and the base pay is a little low, $40k, with an odd commission structure.

      TERRIBLE

      Pros

I can not think of one single pro, it is a textbook toxic workplace.

      Cons

Seriously underpaid and overworked. Normal hours are 730am-6pm everyday. You start off in their "training period" where you are an hourly employee. They tell you its just for the first 3 months but there are people who never make it out and never make it to the $50K salary. The training is useless after about 2 weeks then they throw you out there. The managers don't care about you unless you are making them money. The benefits for healthcare are very expensive. You wont make real money until you're a manager and that takes well over a year to become a manager and most managers don't succeed either. -high turnover -long hours -underpaid -no worklife balance -zero upside to this company

      Pros

Aerotek is a great entry level company, having been here 4+ years has helped me hit and achieve career milestones as well as out of office milestones. The culture is strong and you will work with like minded employees who are similar in age to you. You'll have an awesome resume to present to future companies because you wont want to stay long, and other companies gobble up Aerotek resumes because they understand what is demanded from Aerotek.

      Cons

The company as a whole has lost several years of progress by constantly feeling the need to implement new ideas year over year, don't fix what isn't broke. They changed entry level salaries and internal structures and are still years behind most companies. It took a pandemic for them to realize that flexibility and working from home is possible if you trust the employee's who earn you revenue year after year, standard hours are 7:30AM - 6PM and flexibility has been the #1 concern. Zero flexibility and slowly adapting to internal employees concerns is hurting hiring as a whole, and the constant recruiter turnover is a red flag that is never addressed. They can address it through more flexibility, increased benefits, 401K, or even higher pay, but they'd rather run lean and burn out everyone in the office before making changes that benefit the internal employees, they'll hire someone else once you're burned out. If you stay long enough it will become a political competition, if your DBO is on your side you'll be ok politically and job security wise, if not you have no hope... -Extremely long hours -Underpaid recruiters = zero motivation -Office politics -Promote future DBO's sooner, keep them in one office -Benefits are extremely concerning -401k is brutally bad
