    Pros

good place to work and very family orient

    Cons

CHANGE is not always bad and if you want to get to the next level listen to your employees. We have to many cost savings at Wix to be in the shape we are in. We have to many extra people at our plant not to hire TEMPS. To many people in MANAGEMENT and they are not business incline. We have a lot of seasoned workers. Need a MAKE OVER!

    Advice to Management

    CHANGE

I worked at Affinia Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Phenomenal people and fair compensation. There is a very high degree of mutual respect among coworkers at Affinia. I worked at the Ann Arbor corporate office and it was an excellent experience.

    Cons

The company is owned by private equity so what tomorrow will bring was never certain, but Affinia certainly treated people fairly in relation to this situation.

    Advice to Management

Keep treating your team members fairly, and you will continue to get the best out of them. You did a great job while I was with Affinia.

    Pros

None really. Management is from the 50's. Hr is incompetent. Don't walk away, run away.

    Cons

Feckless management. They built a good IT team, then removed them all, VP's included. This happened in the space of a year. Management makes strange decisions if you assume they are trying to run a legal business. But if your goal is to spend investor money for big pay outs for top level and the 2nd tier management makes they pay out from vendors kick backs? Their management style starts to make sense.

    Advice to Management

I think the law will catch up to you in the end.

I worked at Affinia Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Low stress office work environment. People are friendly. Company is heavily involved in community outreach such as Relay for Life and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

    Cons

Executive management is not qualified for their respective positions. They lack mentoring in preparation for their assignments and experience in other companies which is evident in their lack of vision and immaturity in execution. They reward attendance over performance. There is zero flexibility for working parents. They chose the cheapest options to the detriment of working effectively (IT systems are out-of-date and poorly supported). Being in Gastonia is a difficult area to attract and retain talent. HR and IT are not held accountable for their lack of results.

    Advice to Management

Management should be encouraging constant innovation and improvement. Hold under performing leaders accountable.

    Advice to Management

    Seppuku
