    Pros

Great company to work for. Directed by seasoned executives and senior management that were technically superb in every category and sincerely honest with employees and their partners...lol!

    Cons

Can't say enough when it comes to con jobs. The old and new executive management supreme master of their craft. Managed by nepotism, fear, decent, secret communication, showmanship and bold face lies a great Ponzi case study on how to profit before failure!

    Pros

Afren is a fast growing independent company in the exploration and production industry. Career growth is promoted by management and responsibilities are given to employees.

    Cons

You may get lots of responsibilities because of the company size. Employees there are few compared to the multinationals, so you need to do a lot more. Anyway, it will be to the employee's benefit in terms of experience.

    Pros

Great colleagues who came with very varied experience. Very friendly environment to work in. Being a small company it was great from an experience point of view as you get exposure to wider area of work.

    Cons

Although London was the corporate office often a times it seemed that was not the case and decisions were made and things were run out of Houston office. Why a company that had its entire operations in Africa and Middle East had an operational office in Houston (a different time zone) remains a mystery.
