    Pros

Great company strategy and goals, supportive direct management. Solid product offerings and well established business model. Excellent culture of innovation and great people.

    Cons

Poor management from Director level to VP level. Ego rules at those levels and know it all attitudes abound. Short changes made with limited understanding of long term impacts on business process.

I have been working at Agilent Technologies (Less than a year)

    Pros

The work life balance is great at Agilent as well as the extra curricular activities. There are plenty of open spaces and sporting clubs from volleyball to basketball, plus an onsite gym with aerobics classes. The company allows for great flexibility for their employees and are not strictly tied down to the common 9-5 type schedules. This allows everyone working here to maximize their time and actively engaged in the daily tasks either remotely or on-site.

    Cons

Being in the heart of Silicon Valley, one would assume there are greater employee benefits such as subsidized food or better health benefits. Plus upgrade the servers for the main Agilent website and the on-site WIFI

    Pros

New and innovative products. Great people and management seems to know what they want. Great leadership!

    Cons

A lot of homegrown software products that are being used. If the person that created that program leaves, there is no direction on how to use that software.

    Advice to Management

Great management! keep up the good work!

I have been working at Agilent Technologies full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Customer focused
Making a difference in the laboratories of tomorrow

    Cons

Recent decline in benefits removes a lot of value in loyalty to Agilent. If a service employee isn't happy, it has become very easy to jump ship and end up on higher ground.

    Advice to Management

Focus on your employees half as much as shareholders and the company will grow just as fast, and be better off for the long haul.
