I worked at Air Serv full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The job had good tips coming in, I got to meet lots of new people. You see different people everyday and get to know more about people and places.

    Cons

Sometimes you get really big people and it's hard pushing on the wheelchair and stuff. You will have to walk miles every day.

    Advice to Management

Understand that it is not easy to walk around as much. When it is time to leave, it is time to leave.

I have been working at Air Serv full-time

    Pros

You meet a lot of people, different cultures and styles. You get to make new friends "not just employees but passengers also". Good customer service experience.

    Cons

This is the worst job. The management doesn't care and doesn't work with the employees schedules. The most important is that this is not a job for students, college schedules will not be worked out. Students will be pressured in a way as if your life is owned by them. Please, do not work for Airserv if you are a student. Your life will be a wreck. Please please please, don't work with Airserv. This is a minimum wage... job, but you work as if you are getting paid quadruple the amount. You will have a hard time getting days off for vacation or your PTO time "may not even get the days off".

    Advice to Management

Get your stuff straight be more cooperative, get on the same page and don't treat your workers like you own them. (Workers have a life also). Don't be self-centered and ignorant. You (the management) is supposed to be a role model), but you are not.

You get to meet a lot of people and have freedom to roam the airport while waiting on planes to come in.

Management for Atlanta airport is very poor and unprofessional. They need training courses on how to be professional.

    Pros

Tips are good depending on passenger and your interactiin with them. You meet a lot of people from all countries and walks of life. You dont have manager over your shoulder the entire day.

    Cons

Minimum wage pay Horribly unorganized Nepotism is the name of the game as far as advancement Slight inconvenience having to ride the train to work Having to do other people's job when they're MIA

    Advice to Management

Show the employees you care about them and stop throwing us under the bus at every opportunity. Have a more intense inte r viewing and application process to weed out people that wont pull their weight.
