I worked at Air Techniques full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great work place environment. Weekly production meetings are a forum in which everybody has the option of putting in on whatever issue comes up. The employees there are willing to give you the time of day instead of pointing down the hallway. Good pay/benefits. Monthly good employee awards, gas card raffles. Lots of activities, and an on-site gym for short workouts on the Norditrack and the wieght machines.

    Cons

The inplementation of a KANBAN system was very haphazard. Quality control was out of the loop while the rest of the company was utilizing it. The KANBAN cards did not supply sufficient information (no rev, assemblage/BOM).

    Advice to Management

KANBAN is no substitute for communication.
