    Pros

Good support team and proactive management. Very focused on narrow product niche. Has a global perspective.

    Cons

They are a relatively small player in their industry and don't show many signs of changing that significantly. Not much room for career advancement in such a small firm. Limited resources.

    Advice to Management

If you want to grow the US market, bring more focus on products meeting US requirements

    Pros

Travel discounts and some friendly people in the German office.

    Cons

Poorly managed with a lot of pandering and unnecessary displays of authority. Rampant selective preferential treatment. Employees are treated with a distinct lack of respect. Unprofessional colleagues. Lack of professional growth opportunities. Lack of mentorship. Consistently high turnover. Uninspired leadership and overall negative work environment.

    Advice to Management

    Respect your employees.
Leadership positions should go through an established vetting process.

    Pros

Good benefits. Travel perks. Interesting business.

    Cons

High turnover and so much improvisation.
    Unprofessional colleagues.

    Advice to Management

A manager must be a leader not a "diva"
    A manager shouldn't be a giving-orders-machine that can't make any sense.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at AirPlus International full-time

    Pros

We traveled to Europe for sales meetings twice a year and received discounts on all personal flights to Europe on Lufthansa. Great opportunity to interact with other nationalities. The majority of employees were friendly.

    Cons

By the time I left the employee turnover was roughly 85% and continues to increase. The current management is extremely difficult to interact with and is very selective in who they want working for them (regardless of performance and willingness to cooperate and be a good team player). Overall a negative environment because of management and no amount of money is worth that type of unnecessary attitude and discrimination in the workplace.

    Advice to Management

You had hardworking employees who performed well for the company and were loyal to your company. However, you allowed someone in management to demoralize them. Work on building up and supporting your employees.

I worked at AirPlus International full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people and location and excellent benefits.

    Cons

Extremely high turnover of staff and few interactions, especially involving crossover of departments. Canteen isn't well placed so employees don't interact here. Issues also with management.

    Advice to Management

Listen to staff needs and try to get some more networking involved. Organise events/drinks and not just within teams but the whole company so that certain 'lower level' staff feel valued at work.
More honesty is also needed at an interview level so that potential staff are aware of hours and how shifts/break times work. I believe this would address turnover issues as people would know what they are going in for and what their work/life balance will be.
Not necessary whatsoever for shifts to finish beyond 6pm as calls are few and far between and Saturday working should be eliminated as he German office pick up any emergency calls (which at maximum will hit 15-20 per day on the London number).
Benefits and holidays are fantastic but it just isn't enough to keep people around.
The location is fantastic also but with a 30 minute lunch break for the contact centre team, there is zero chance of being able to take advantage of it. You can barely make it out of the park and back and there is no flexibility with this as service level must be reached.
I sincerely hope these comments are taken on board as this company could be wonderful to work for and the people on the whole are great.

Current Employee - Assistant Marketing Communications in London, England (UK)

    Pros

Great work-life balance, really nice persons working in the company, modern location, international work place, 50% female, 50% male employees

    Cons

Not a lot of responsibilities given, few exchanges between employees, lunch in front of the computer because there is no canteen

    Advice to Management

Communicate more with all the employees, organize some events for the employees to enable discussion, take advantage of the work place
