    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Airbus full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

In my 28 years of design experience Airbus has the best benefits package then any other company I've worked for.

    Cons

Working in Wichita there is no build shop or prototype facility. This is strictly an Engineering only facility.

    Advice to Management

Overlook the stereotype to the BS degree. Many potential employees have a great work related experience and do not posses the piece of paper known as the BS degree.

A lot of Temp and Contract employees vs. FT. Seems to be a trend in this area though.

I worked at Airbus as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some of the best reasons to work for Airbus Group include the extremely competitive pay for support personnel (I was a Project Coordinator), the employee culture allows you to get to know people from all walks of life, the company will train you on all of their toolsets and more, so you can walk in the door with little to no prior experience and leave a real Project Management professional.

    Cons

As a contract employee, I was both easy to hire, but easy to fire. The company reorganizes often, so many people meet the unemployment line this way. I was laid off for that reason.

    Advice to Management

Upper management should be more personable to employees. Some of them seem very reserved and 'off limits' to the common employee.

    Advice to Management

    Thank you .
