I have been working at Airbus

    Pros

Family oriented, unparalleled benefits, excellent leadership, good rewards and recognition, small team environment. Company believes in work/life balance. Comp time is tracked and is treated as time you take off whenever you wish. Company sponsors numerous external company events throughout the year to keep all of the employees and families involved and socially integrated. Compensation is higher than most NASA contractors that I've worked for in the past. Benefits are incredible. Senior management is composed of people that are widely respected in their fields.

    Cons

Working within NASA and ESA ever changing budgets. Communication between small teams is very good now but could be even better.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.

I have been working at Airbus full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Good work/life balance, hours rarely eclipse 40/week and only when there is an absolute need for it - Great environment with good people who are a joy to work with - Interesting work and management that works to ensure work is enjoyed as much as possible by employees - Amazing benefits

    Cons

    - Low pay, and pay is often tied to company performance - Not much room for growth, raises are very rare - Organizational and pay structure is not transparent and is subject to change

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees better, especially in places that are getting hit hard by rising cost of living! When the cost of living goes up every year and salaries stagnate, employees aren't motivated to work and might look for opportunities elsewhere.

    Pros

Work environment is awesome, Best work life balance, Fabulous team outing, Salary standards are similar to Amazon, walmart Good for 7+ years experienced professionals

    Cons

Tech stack has to be matched for what you recruit. Stop using all outdated technology. Stop investing on worthless travels

    Advice to Management

    Change the tech stack

I have been working at Airbus full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Work-life balance is second to none in the UK; flexitime, flex days, leave your work at the door. Probably the best 'damper' into the working world after university due to training, support, friendly coworkers, laid back approach. 100+ graduates taken in last year so you're surrounded by smart, like-minded, enthusiastic, young people. Rotational placements are possible. Salary is competitive for the first few years of your career. Company bonus scheme, perks in nearby leisure park. Location (Stevenage) is close to London without needing to live in the city.

    Cons

Unbelievably slow; don't expect to be handed a massive workload to immerse yourself in and grow. You will grow and learn at a pace dictated by the company. Very cyclical workload, projects last half a decade and depending on when you join the company, you could completely miss certain phases of the projects. Very old colleagues in certain areas who may need to be 'coached' into helping you/giving you work. Everything is reliability focused (which isn't really airbus' fault) which makes everything slow and cumbersome, don't expect to innovate anything.

    Advice to Management

Difficult to change the environment if there just isn't the work there.

I have been working at Airbus full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good Work-life balance, Multi-skilling, and inter-team mobility, Good place to start for a fresher.

    Cons

Airbus is a big company in Europe not in India. Worst Management. Way of working is similar to government organizations. Experienced people deserving/non-deserving gets all opportunities. Want to bring a change and innovation wait for a year for approval. If you are looking for a challenging work environment with continuous improvements, this is not the company for you.

    Advice to Management

Do your work before someone tells you to do it.

    I worked at Airbus

    Pros

+ top notch products + team spirit in international teams + salary & benefits + work life balance (work load can be pretty tough and challenging)

    Cons

    - club of friends promoting each other - pretty political environment (the French against the Germans and the other way round...) - difficult mood due to resctructurings - teams dominated by French workforce have a tendency towards reservations against English-only-speakers (which is of course the same issue in most of the multinantional companies).

    Advice to Management

Stop playing political games Live the dream of integration (like Tom Enders and Faury showed it...) Pursue internationalization process Lead by example
