    Pros

Challenging tasks, good organisation, good work life balance, excellent retributive package, very interesting products, view on the complete supply chain, flat hierarchy (in Program)

    Cons

Augsburg location does not allow home office, no Kindergarden available or incentives, too many reorganisations, uncertainty for The PAG division future.

I have been working at Airbus full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

In the winter it is warm and you don't get wet (unless you work where the roof is leaking) The money you are paid for the work that is done is pretty good. 35 hour week is pretty good, split shifts allow a good work/life balance

    Cons

There are no prospects for moving up and progressing in the company unless you are friends with management. Management always pressure for overtime. Cannot book a holiday 6 months in advance Empty promises Lots of disorganisation Unreachable targets

I worked at Airbus for more than a year

    Pros

Its a challenging internship with lots of varied work provided. Allowed a good work life balance. Early finish on a Friday (only a 4 hour day). Flexible working so you can do your hours between 7-7. Friendly team mentality. Given plenty of independence and trusted to work independently on all projects.

    Cons

All in all I couldn't fault it.

I have been working at Airbus full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

The company is successful and has an excellent portfolio of aerospace equipment which is world famous. I am involved in the manufacture of satellites. The job offers many opportunities to explore in detail the design of the equipment, its manufacture, testing, and operation. Many different roles are available. A good work life balance and flexible working

    Cons

The company is large, slow and inflexible. There are a multitude of arcane internal systems many of which are internally developed and ancient. It is easy to get stuck in a rut in the company and the management structure is deep and opaque which can lead to cynicism and cronyism. There does not appear to be a mechanism to reward good performance which can lead to laziness. For a leading aerospace company, it's amazing how inefficient some of the internal processes are.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Airbus full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great for early stage career, with lots of training, lots of movements opening up opportunities for the bold, willing to relocate - so again great for the young. If you are in and content, then it is really good, with generous benefits, and fairly good job security. Good work/ life balance.

    Cons

With experience individuals tend to get stuck in their roles, seemingly happily drawing the lower than average salary for half a day's work. If you want more and consider your career to be on the up then its not so easy to move around within Airbus, and get recognition for any additional effort or responsibility that you take on.
