    Pros

    Overall culture is great Facilities are 2nd to none in NZ Welfare of staff has a very high focus At a low level of impact open for challenge

    Cons

    Executive make many decisions without gaining prior input from employees People safety in the higher risk appointments is in need of much more focus Insular in their thinking, with most people being old hands and resistant to change Turnover of people in the last year, especially of new challenging mind and long standing staff has been high; mostly from redundancy.

    Treats people well. Good work-life balance. Above average benefits especially if you've been here a while. Very low staff turnover.

    Lots of rep tape, old methodologies.

    Rewarding work, opportunities for overseas work, professional development opportunities.

    Cons

    Recent changes through middle & upper management have brought a very different style and ideology of contracting and partnerships, existing staff are finding this disruptive.

    Pros

    - Great team and environment - Convenient commuting and transportation - a lot of car parks and bus stops (all routes), 15 minutes from Wellington train station - Many interesting projects with real self-development opportunities - High level of routine processes automation - Remote working is possible

    Cons

    - Low level of business processes documentation - Low level of implemented IT systems documentation - Location of ACNZ is currently under earthquake enforcement, it is a bit noisier.

    The people are helpful, motivated and skilled.

    Cons

    Some issues with management not listening to (or not having the authority or resourcing themselves) workers, particularly regarding the resourcing needs of the people working in the field or in supporting roles.
