Fast Paced Environment
Jul 19, 2022 - Account Executive in Denver, CORecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Stock, benefits, competitive, remote, account growth
Cons
High expectations, limited feedback, long hours
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Aisera has likely the best product in the conversational AI space. Many customers who compare Aisera against competitors routinely provide this feedback. In most of cases, customers usually ask for Roadmap or sales shows roadmap, but not the case here. Product is quite comprehensive and feature rich.
Cons
Company needs to revamp marketing to showcase the superiority of the product. There are many competitors out there who claim they have a similar solution. Proper marketing to show the differentiation is key.

Pros
I had some good coworkers which showed lots of sympathy which was nice.
Cons
Everything is wrong with this company: 1. The environment is toxic and dysfunctional. Lots of finger pointing, CEO yells at people and humiliates them in a company-wide meetings, upper management are always right and only "yes sir" kind of people are promoted. 2. The product is a dummy rules based model, there's no AI in this company. However, they would lie in the hiring process and to the customers that their product is using machine learning. THIS IS A RULES BASED MODEL which is so bad that is not scalable. 3. People would be transitioned to different groups without them wanting and no one cares if you are happy or not. Employees interests and skill set are not respected. 4. CTO is basically an annotator and won't let people do AI, he insists on rules based model which is too complex for CSMs to deal with and they need to involve data scientist and software engineers. 5. Very abusive work environment, you would need a therapist.

only a startup by name not by reputation
Jul 28, 2022 - Software EngineerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
there are no pros for this company
Cons
Leadership are unsympathetic and closed minded. Startups you will work a lot which is granted but this is beyond that. They work you long hours 6 or 7 days a week, promote a culture of giving updates late at night to show you are working, no acknowledgment, or giving time to uncompress. 15 days of PTO combined with medical leave is lowest in industry and they ask you to justify taking time off even when you earned it. Leadership frequently calls out engineers in public forums for being slow and blame them for schedule slips. stuck in the past using email chains for everything. no process, little documentation that is kept up to date other than very high level. They still will call you on your time off and expect you to work. monolithic antiquated programming practices rule here. No CI/CD. only giant complex releases that are delayed weeks or months. They want locals and remote folks to come to the office every week even though its largely empty and unnecessary. This company is the same people in 4th iteration. they just can't grow this way. Any new engineers they hire quickly leave once they find out what its really like there. Warning they straight out lie in interview process offering all sort of benefits that don't exist. This is pandemonium.

It’s a grind, good leadership, executives are micro managers
Jun 16, 2022 - Account ManagerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Leadership is great. Product is great, market loves it, pay is good.
Cons
Executive team is micro managing. Executive has lots of plotless tasks. Reports after reports and more reports. Can never close an opportunity or you get yelled at.

Pros
None. The job is meaningful and the work is interesting but all the negatives outweigh the positives.
Cons
Too many to list. First off, it’s a very hostile work environment brought on by Senior Leadership. The CEO leads with fear, and all of his “minions,” I.E., VPs seem to think this is how best to achieve results too. Everything gets bottlenecked at the VP level, but they will blame it on you and practically verbally attack and insult you on conference calls. Oh, and did I mention there was NO work-life balance? You will be called into meetings anytime of the day, night or weekend. If you’re unavailable, it’s a you issue, not a them calling you at absurd hours issue. I’m out of here the first chance I get. If you get an offer, don’t walk away; RUN!

Horrible work environment
Jul 16, 2022 - Sales Development Representative (SDR)RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
No pros to list due to all the cons.
Cons
Have fun with the interview process as it was a nightmare. Rescheduled more than 10 times. Unprofessional work environment. Unorganized atmosphere. This place is a nightmare. CEO is power hungry and will run this company into the ground.

No distinct roles - too many directors
Jul 12, 2022 - Machine Learning EngineerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
It's a cool industry to work on ML You can change your contract to remote Looks like the sales are going well and company does more hirings
Cons
Directors pretend to be project managers and technical leads pretend to be product owners which results to no actual work from their side and constant conflicts of interest and scope Trying to find information feels like playing the game of hot potato because everyone redirects you to someone else Communication alone can be a very good reason to leave since there is no transparency of projects and work being done which results to reinventing the wheel and redo things which have been done It s a very sad and toxic work environment

Join at your risk and prepare to work long hours...
Jul 10, 2022 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
If I had to list any pros, there would be none.
Cons
The work environment is incredibly toxic stemming from leadership/management. Any middle-managers and below are subjugated to becoming "Yes" men that only suck up to the higher executive team. Everyone is intimidated because they will get called out during a meeting, asked to work over night/the weekend if something is not turnover in less than 24 hours by their demands. Higher executives are verbally abusive and will insult you if you try to express your opinion.
