I worked at Al Ansari Exchange full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

A secure job with fair good salary

    Cons

employees are the last consideration of the management, work overload, no clear planning, salary is low compare to the amount of work, decision making is based on increasing profits by reducing the cost (Employees benefits and bonuses). A bureaucratic managment with no empathy towards their employees

    Advice to Management

reconsider the policies taken towards your employees to lead an effective company instead of slave mechanism and extortion schemes.

Current Employee - FOREIGN EXCHANGE CASHIER in Dubai (United Arab Emirates)

I have been working at Al Ansari Exchange (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Leading exchange company in the UAE with the largest branch network started almost 60 years
ago, primarily to meet the foreign exchange and remittance needs, at a time when formal
banking was yet to be established in the Country.

    Cons

Analysed financial information obtained from clients to determine strategies for
    meeting clients' financial objectives
Investigated red flags for fraud, embezzlement, money laundering, tax evasion,
false accounting statements, organised crime and insider trading

    Advice to Management

Set clear goals. It sounds obvious, but too many managers simply tread water or get pulled in too many directions instead of figuring out what the most important things for them to achieve are and focusing there. Try this exercise: Pretend it’s a year from now. Looking back on the previous 12 months, what would you need to have accomplished for it to have been a successful year? After you’ve figured that out, make those things your concrete goals for the coming months. Write them out, form plans to achieve them, and then be disciplined about sticking to them.
