I worked at Aladdin Bail Bonds full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Many offices in the state which gives opportunities to move around and there is a lot of money to be made in the bigger offices such as OC, LA, SD

    Cons

Company is slow to change and they do not care about their employees as much as they should. It's not terrible but it's not the best.

I have been working at Aladdin Bail Bonds full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Competitive pay, challenging, great manager and office environment

    Cons

I really don't see any. It's been a great company to work for so far. Lots of little things to show we are appreciated

I have been working at Aladdin Bail Bonds full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Open 24/7 so there is constant need for staff. Sales based pay so potential to make 6 figures for top earners. Decent 401k and health benefits.

    Cons

Poor management and lack of employee appreciation really make it tough to feel good about working here. Long hours and you work weekends and holidays. You will deal with some difficult clients as part of your duties.

    Advice to Management

Learn to listen to the needs of staff to alleviate stress of sales driven numbers. Allow for staff to use vacation time and sick time without fear of reprisal or reprimand

I have been working at Aladdin Bail Bonds (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Work/Life balance. Benefits including a nice 401k program. Not a typical 9-5 job.

    Cons

Pay is stagnant. Promotions based on network, not merit. Work is tedious with no reward.

    Advice to Management

Incentivize great performance, otherwise top performers will go elsewhere. Promote based on performance and not "who you know". HR should oversee all advancements to fix this.

I have been working at Aladdin Bail Bonds full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Salary is currently adequate, but with minimum wage going up, seeing a cost of living wage would help. Not much else is good here.

    Cons

management. As stated in previous posts, it's who you know, not how competent you are. It's enough to make long term, high value employees look at moving on with another employer.

    Advice to Management

Good god! Pay attention to who you promote! Try to avoid managers who blatantly discriminate based on ethnicity or physical appearance.

I have been working at Aladdin Bail Bonds full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Awesome pay, great company with room to grow. Full benefit package.

    Cons

Long shifts that include a mix of nights weekends, holidays, etc. The company forces agents to compete against each other internally instead of building as a team. At first was very team/family based, now it's very competitive to the point team members and back stabbing and breaking company policy and state and federal law to get one up on other employees.

    Advice to Management

Head back to team/family feel. Better environment and will retain employees better and will continue to grow.

    Pros

Since you work 12 hour shifts you get a lot of overtime with the chance to stay 2 hours past your shift on top of your 12 hr. Great for a stepping stone job and to build a good sales record. You can move up in the company which is where the big money is made.

    Cons

Sometimes hard to get time off, although you do work 3 days on 3 days off. Repetitive sales training every couple of months. No a good work/life balance.

    Advice to Management

PLEASE COME IN DURING THE NIGHT AND SEE WHAT IS GOING ON. It is a 24 hour company choose a few times a month to work night shifts to keep your employees in check...

    Pros

Was a good company to work for, pay was good for the economy

    Cons

New corporate took over and put wrong people in charge of offices. we went from record breaking to not even meeting our quote due to bad management

I have been working at Aladdin Bail Bonds full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Only good thing is earning potential if or when you become a commissioned agent. If you're just hourly, overtime opportunities are abundant

    Cons

Crazy micro management culture, in office competition, long and
inconsistent hours. Incredibly poor work/life balance, and super high burnout ratio. I didn't believe my coworkers at first, but then I experienced first hand how it started to "hurt" to operate on such a messed up schedule.
Mgmt is also not really there for you. They pretend to want to be there for you and hold you up (and will for the most part as long as you're making them money), but will be quick to throw you under the bus if there's any heat from customers or corporate or drop you all together. Agents were recently arrested by a sting operation at work. Word is they didn't even bail their own employees out and left everybody out to dry but mgmt says they're being taken care of. Sounds fishy. Work for them if you want, just don't trust them and always have a backup plan

    Advice to Management

Making money is great, sure, but you need to really be mindful of your employees. They are people with their own lives too. Do regular welfare check ins with your employees. See how they're doing, how close to burning out are they - are there any easy accommodations you can make that will make a big difference for them? Also, be transparent with employees and if you say you have an open door policy, embrace it and be responsive and helpful to employees who come to you looking for help - they're at your door for a reason.
