Pros
Entire company cares and worked hard to make sure no one lost their job due to COVID-19. We all have been able to work remotely during these uncertain times. The Health Benefits are amazing! Management team is always supportive. Never a dull moment in this job, always busy.
Cons
Different departments are not always on the same page with each other on updates and/or procedures. Difficult to remember all procedures, self made cheat sheets are necessary to make but not efficient.

Pros
Some Pros about the company
Cons
CEO is not a very good fit for this company. He’s weak. He has his wife, who is not an employee, sit in on our monthly meetings, take notes and give him advice on how to run the company. He decided to move our office to a more expensive location instead of saving money. He wants employees to come back to the office just to just to show he is in charge instead of seeing our increased productivity being home. I can’t see our company doing well in the future. He is making bad buys or not enough buys. This is how bad he is. He fired about 20 people due to saving money and than had a huge party for the company. He let key people go that we’re very important to our departments. I can’t say enough he’s not a good leader and needs to go

Pros
They let us work from home during the pandemic.
Cons
Leadership at the company is awful. They have laid off over 20 people in 2 separate rounds of layoffs under the new CEO. In fact, his first round of layoffs he did right before Christmas. The second during the pandemic. It's honestly amazing that upper management still has jobs. They're almost all incompetent and should have been fired before the people they let go. I give the company a few more months before they close the doors.

Pros
Good Benefits, Good Pay. I stayed with them for 7+ years.
Cons
2 offices. 1 office did all the daily work, answered incoming calls, took payments, added/cancelled accounts, made collection calls and had to deal with the unsatisfied customers while the other office took all the credit and where able to advance. Service and Customer Care made no attempts to follow up on customer requests, they would try to make contact once and if no contact made it was then in the hands of the customer service reps that answered calls or the collections dept. New CEO came in Dec 2018 promised jobs were secured but laid off the entire customer service dept in less than a year. Cuts were made so he could afford to fly to work and stay in an apartment while keeping his home half way across the country. Only place for advancement the 7+ years I worked there was if you worked in the main office. The billing/customer serv dept was the "front line" but our ideas/suggestions where never listened to.

Pros
Flexible schedules and great potential growth . CEO does care for employees and is fair. He is the boss so being a friend is not his job- he is blunt and incredibly honest. If you don’t have thick skin you will grow it- a GREAT life skill. If you actually do your job, many people now a Days seem to be unaware of what that actually means, you will be rewarded. If you run around pretending you do work people will see through it. If you are a hard worker, like a fast paced environment, this is the place!! Growing fast and always hiring!
Cons
Beware of this kitchen - food is always there . I gained a couple LBs through the years.

Pros
Hours of work are the only pro
Cons
This company is going down fast. When multiple changes are done at once to the running of a business it is a big RED FLAG!! When a company is willing to eliminate an entire office after telling them "your job is secure" that is the line given to keep people on board until you find their replacements. Everyone one in upper management is taken care of an promoted to higher positions. Those promotions are based on the"favorites" way of thinking. It is always the same people getting promoted to higher positions or invented positions. Money is spent on making the company top heavy, while chipping away at the benefits for the hourly employees doing all the work.

Pros
I enjoyed a flexible schedule, the nature and variety of the work, and some of the people I worked with.
Cons
Office manager - incompetent and the two owners have no idea what is going on day to day. AFA drives an incredible amount of monthly revenue which is bragged about in the monthly staff meeting but doesn't show up in the mostly female support staff's checks. Instead, money is thrown at problems, extravagant expenses and travel. The only real earners in the company are the men. Promises made to the female support staff are never realized.

Pros
Great management, good benefits, fair pay
Cons
Business model is unique and in some ways can be challenging for people. There aren't black and white procedures. This is a big reason the company is so successful as we work with over 300 different alarm companies throughout the USA. It is necessary to be flexible and make exceptions in order to accommodate the many companies we Partner with.

Pros
Co-workers are nothing short of amazing, room for advancement, benefits are the best I’ve ever been offered and community oriented.
Cons
It can be trying at times, but that is with most jobs that are partner/customer oriented. Some departments could use better leadership but with new management I’m sure those changes are coming.

Pros
The owner takes care of his employees.
Cons
The company is struggling and everyone knows it. We deal with unhappy customers, partners, and techs daily, but no one addresses how to handle them. We are all worried about losing our jobs.
