I worked at Alaska Airlines full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Benefits were awesome and definitely take advantage of the Employee Stock Purchase Program and 401K matching. Profit Sharing was great only issue is how long can an airline keep it going

    Cons

Pay is low. Starting wage is terrible even moving into career with the company starting supervisor pay is below standard especially for how expensive it is to live in Los Angeles

Every company is developing in many ways, not really any cons, besides being more competitive from the salary perspective.

I have been working at Alaska Airlines full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Amazing employees, incredible culture, and fantastic senior leaders. The company is doing the best it's ever done financially.

    Cons

Pay is low...painfully low. Flight privileges are great if you are single or don't have kids but flying standby with children is a pain and in my opinion not worth it.

    Advice to Management

Flight oriviliges do not make up for the low pay - pay your employees what they are worth or you'll lose them. Money isn't everything - but it's certainly something. It's time to make it a non-issue. Especially in a place where cost of living is so high.

I worked at Alaska Airlines as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Had a great supervisor and coworkers.
Good experience with the entire SeaTac corporate offices and Airport.
~90% discount on flights, even as an intern!

    Cons

Worked a lot with contractors. Would have preferred more interaction with Alaska employees.

    Advice to Management

Some QA processes could be automated, saving the company time and money.
