I have been working at Alberta Health Services full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Good work environment
    Good people
    Union support

    Cons

Upper management cares about numbers on a Stat sheet not about quality of care being given to patients.
no opportunity to advance as current role does not support leadership roles.

    Advice to Management

look at how we are taking care of patients, not how many as some patients are quite time consuming and require a lot of care and attention, trying to see as many people as possible is a hard standard to set.
