    Pros

Caring, intuitive people that actually concern about your welfare.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

    Improve the food quality!

    Pros

Amazing faculty! Empower their students to conduct their own research or assist in faculty lead research.

    Cons

The hours can be long, but usually flexible and well worth the time investment

    Pros

An amazing team of profesionals dedicated to the growth of young people.

    Cons

We push eachother pretty hard! But that's because we love what we do.

    Pros

Fun atmosphere. They'd bring in snacks for staff and the company Benson-Technology that they brought in that ran everything smoothly.

    Cons

They had you call alumni who graduated the previous year (most likely people who weren't in a position to donate) as well as parents of currently enrolled students.

I worked at Albion College part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great networking system. Fun and Friendly

    Cons

Word travels fast, lots of gossip.

    Advice to Management

    Support Students

I worked at Albion College part-time

    Pros

The staff and student connection is great!

    Cons

A lot of co-workers live out of Albion.

    Advice to Management

Try to keep a better alumni connection. The difference between Albion and big schools like U of M is that Albion does not keep track of the alumni and their accomplishments very well besides to ask them for money.

I have been working at Albion College part-time

    Pros

Tons of free time to do homework

    Cons

    Nothing really, I cannot complain.

  9. "KC desk worker"

I have been working at Albion College part-time

    Pros

Working at the KC is very relaxed and Karen is a great boss. It's fantastic for work study students, because there's plenty of time to do homework once you've finished your responsibilities.

    Cons

Pretty much anyone can get hired here so the hours are spread really thin. Some of the shifts are broken up into weird times.

    Advice to Management

Plenty of student workers ignore their basic responsibilites and sometimes clock in even when they aren't there. There should probably be some sort of crackdown on that.

I have been working at Albion College full-time

    Pros

Friendly atmosphere, supportive colleagues, "takes a village" mentality. Evident that faculty and staff believe in the College and have a true desire to see her grow.

    Cons

Cultural opportunities are lacking in the small host town. Could use other food options. Also, city could be more diligent in dealing with blight.

    Advice to Management

Recruiting and retaining qualified faculty and staff seems difficult based on location of the school. Consider these challenges when establishing compensation and benefits packages.
