I have been working at Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Good ppl, good pay and good benefits.

    Cons

Bouncing the O.P.P. from field management duties was a mistake. In thier place are civilian managers with no experience in the field and very little understanding of your job. If you develop a mental health issue you will be dismissed upon returning to work. In Govt. maths it is cheaper to drop someone who is 'damaged' and pay them out than it is to actually help their employees when they are in need. Sad to say that in this say and age a Govt. Agency has taken this position. Be warned and concerned.
