Pros
Plenty of room to grow as an individual and your technical skills. Alder gives you the ability to share your thoughts on how certain aspects can be approved, and those thoughts are heard and often times implemented.
Cons
not a lot. The lack of budgets can be a headache, but thats about it.

Pros
Alder helps employees develop into leaders. They almost always promote from within and give you opportunities to grow.
Cons
Cross department collaboration could use great improvements.

Pros
If you are in your late 20's-30's with either no degree or a useless degree like Music Performance or something, OR if you are related to Schanz by blood or marriage, then Alder is literally the best place you could be. Or if you are an ex or current convict, Alder will take a chance on you. Sounds like a joke but it is not. They are all about taking people that society has rejected and giving them a chance (for less than industry standard pay of course) They do not care at all about a college degree or any of your credentials. OR if you are a Harvard MBA that has somehow become a peon, this is also a great place for you. (There have legit been a couple of those here too)
Cons
If you have even an ounce of recognized credentials, run. This place has no benefits other than newly introduced, subpar health insurance, no HR, no structure, no retirement, no reason to exist for you. Take your degree (unless it is a Harvard MBA for some reason) and get a 401k match like a normal human being. Please. You will be miserable here if you stay. Unless you are a degen, go somewhere, anywhere else.

The people here are amazing and the culture is awesome. They have lunch every Friday, they have tons of perks such as Sundance passes, top golf passes, company trips, lounge areas and more.
Cons
They use lots of 3rd party softwares

Pros
They’ve finally got benefits for salaried employees! Hopefully they’ll get benefits for hourly employees too. The Friday lunches are also nice. Lots of growth opportunities.
Cons
Need to get a 401K plan. Parking situation sometimes is challenging.

Pros
I began working at Alder after my mission with no idea what I wanted to do in the future. After finally figuring out what career I wanted to pursue I spoke with leadership about potentially openings in my desired field. I now have 2 years experience in my future career, and am learning several other useful skills for life.
Cons
With a company that is growing so fast it is difficult to always keep clear communication. Changes in leadership are often one of the issues that damage lines of communication and I would love to see those transitions improved in the future.

Pros
Great work environment. I absolutely love that if you care, they will treat you very well. They treat you well either way, they just give you more opportunities to grow.
Cons
Sometimes hard to take calls when you first start and to be honest, I had some bad days. The good days far exceed the bad days though.
