Straight door-to-door sales
May 23, 2022 - Sales Representative/Area Manager in Katy, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Good pay if you have strong door-to-door skills and significant experience Some managers legitimately work hard to ensure their reps sell and make money
Cons
Many managers only care about their own sales figures and not rep development No base pay after 1st 3 weeks Misadvertised leadership and networking opportunities, 95-98% of the job is just knocking on doors Company DOES NOT pay their reps what they advertise

Great learning experience
Mar 4, 2021 - Direct Sales Representative in Houston, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Awesome comradery / ethical & growth oriented culture Unparalleled sales training Overall amazing sales learning experience, which will give you a strong competitive edge in your following career moves. Physically, emotionally, and mentally tough job. All of the above given that the job is what you make out of it.
Cons
They hire pretty much anybody. You will probably work with some weirdos or thugs at some point. There is no base pay, and at the same time a tough learning curve, so you could potentially be working your bum off with no pay at some point. Don't believe the hype about becoming a millionaire knocking doors. It just doesn't happen. Take the experience for what it is. Physically, emotionally, and mentally tough job.

Solid work environment but not for most people
Jan 31, 2022 - Sales Representative in Raleigh, NCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Since it's a sales job you can control how much money you bring in which the upside is very high
Cons
Out and about every day, going to neighborhoods that are not safe and are sort of thrown into the wolves from the start
- Current Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Don’t work here
Mar 4, 2022 - Inside Sales Representative in Orem, UTRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Enjoyable time in the office.
Cons
Management doesn’t care about you. Constantly lied to about pay. Constantly fighting to get paid. Bad leads. Deceitful. Customer service for sustainers is the worst I’ve ever seen.
- Former Employee, more than 8 years★★★★★
