I have been working at Aldridge Electric full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There are some hidden perks of working here, such as the opportunity to travel, and the fact that a fuel card and vehicle are provided

    Cons

Antiquated systems inhibit progress, high employee turnover rates in the field, and nepotism are difficult to handle daily. It's also difficult to get to a geographical area you like based on moving around

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Aldridge Electric full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Can acquire good enough skills to add to your resume when starting out in your career.

    Cons

Lack of tolerance to diversity. Not a very "minority-friendly" company. Discrimination is a norm. Nepotism and favoritism takes priority. No flexibility, and cliques are common. You are not allowed to speak up about anything if it goes against what management is doing because no one will care and it will just make you seem rebellious.

    Advice to Management

Be FAIR and offer flexibility. Honor your core values by acting on them. Diversity and inclusion needs to be a priority. You make the minorities feel like MINORITIES. Make sure you aren't promoting people that lack experience to manage others. People need to be able to TRANSITION into those roles. A person can be a good employee but that does not mean they will automatically be a good manager. This sets up employees under inexperienced managers up to fail also.

    Pros

Good benefits. Depending on team, comfortable, trustworthy work environment. Civilized in central office. Main company is highly focused on safety, encouraging with positive reinforcement and discipline when needed.

    Cons

Some teams may cause high levels of stress, and lowered levels of etiquette. Relocation may be needed for job security.

    Advice to Management

Work/Life Balance needs to be recognized as an issue in national projects.
