      Broken Promises

      Pros

Coworkers are the best I've ever had, willing to share knowledge and teach anyone willing to learn. Team leads were incredible.

      Cons

High turnover. Embarrassingly low pay and raises. Promised to offer competitive salary and also to pay for employees to obtain SANS certifications, but failed on both fronts ostensibly to keep costs low. Wishful thinking on IPO. Rarely promotes internally. Some managers have engineering experience but no security or software experience and are mostly in place to keep status quo. Company values customer service reps more than those with security insight. Increased competition in this sector will require innovation, not an echo chamber. Multiple management structure changes in short time means that months of work would be discarded as new leaders made changes to objectives, often just to reverse their stance a short while later.

Positive Growth Opportunity, However company needs severe people management training

      Pros

      - Great opportunities for advancement within the company - In-house training opportunities - Talented staff

      Cons

This organization as a whole is sales-driven. As a result, there is very little focus on employee growth and ensuring the needs of employees are met on a regular basis. The framework associated with ensuring employees are happy, motivated, and feel as though they are in a positive environment is very much lacking. This results in high turnover. Additionally, there is a lot of favoritism within the company, which results in poor decisions in leadership and fair promotion within teams. Management as a whole is not focused on communicating well to employees, or providing feedback on a regular basis. The fundamental elements of people management is missing from this company - which results is extremely low morale. This organization will continue to lose employees as a result of this type of leadership and management strategy. This was the worst workplace I have been a part of - employees are screamed at, embarrassed, and adversely affected by the toxic environment in this organization.

      Pros

Company culture is relaxed but highly detailed. Some parts run 24/7. Work can be hectic at times. Takes care of the workers.

      Cons

High turnover of personnel in many departments, the company is growing fast but retention seems to be difficult.

      Not for seasoned professionals.

      Pros

Great for college graduates and prospects with no job experience alike. 401k match after a couple years of tenure.

      Cons

'Start-up enthusiasm' translates to low pay and a scapegoat for huge operational inefficiencies for a company that started back in 2002. It is now 2013. 'Fast paced' translates into under staffing because of very high turnover rate. 'Constant change' correlates directly to incompetent decision making by management.
