    Pros

    Great team and atmosphere.

    Cons

You do not get paid and long hours. However you are compensated with a leather accessory from the new collection.

    Neutral Outlook

    I worked at Alexander Wang

    Pros

Very hands on and you can learn as much as you want to depending on who you want to learn from. The only limit is the time you have in a day. Knowing who the good people to work for will be to your advantage.

    Cons

Can be considered long hours for some people who aren't really interested in the industry. But they provide a food stipend and Uber home for late nights.

    Advice to Management

Don't hire interns who don't actually want to work there it slows everyone else down.

    I worked at Alexander Wang

    Pros

Given tasks I was able to learn from including sample making, mood board creating, and research at libraries, which are all useful for future designer career paths

    Cons

Long work hours, but are to be expected at fashion design internships. None of the interns are allowed to go to the show we took part in producing though!

    I worked at Alexander Wang

    Pros

Payed in a bag from the collection, retail value ca. 1000 euro for a weeks of work. Good team, rotates responsibilities to give interns experience in various tasks, allows you to work very closely with sales team. Does on occasion hire interns for full time jobs.

    Cons

Expects very long hours, up to 16 hours in a day on occasion, undocumented, which is not entirely legal, not to mention you don't get credit as you would with a Convention de Stage.

    Advice to Management

Obviously, as Alexander Wang has since established a permanent office in France it should make more of an effort to have its internships conform to French work laws. But it's a valuable experience and a positive environment that teaches (primarily design) students about the sales side of a fashion label.

    Pros

Very friendly environment, open minded management capable of listening to subordinate's suggestions, one of the few companies in the industry that trains and tutors properly
