Great if you're just starting and need a years experience or more mature and need a place to settle down.
Cons
Almost no possibility for advancement. Almost no chance of a annual increase. Insurance cost will skyrocket year after year because of the older average age of the employees. The owner is half way out the door so he really doesn't care and the rest of management is divided and doesn't bother trying to fix much of anything that's wrong.

Pretty relaxed working environment and that was 100% because my manager was very supportive. With her guidance I had all the tools and support to do my job well.
Cons
There were no personal growth in the company.

Okay to start but seriously behind the times

Privately owned company with longevity; over 60 years of history in the fashion business. Many of the current employees have been with the company 15+ years. People have raised families here. Job stability... if that's all your looking for. One of the few places where your work day can actually end at 5:30pm.
Cons
1. Salary is not competitive with the industry. 2. Benefits are mediocre, and below standard. 3. No upward growth in job position or finances. 4. Each division is managed differently and the benefits/perks pertain to each division 5. No company wide data base. Everything is manually done. 6. There is no company wide philanthropy. All charity work is individually based. 7. Pay raises are few and far between. The raise increases are below cost of living. 8. Job performance reviews are very general and are not job specific.

Cons
The company was closing stores, I only hope this has leveled out. Due to failing business raises just wasn't there

Cons
Not much room for growth within the company. Some aspects were a little disorganized about the way communication worked within the company between different departments.

Family oriented company. Hours are great, never staying past 5:30PM, weekends and holidays off.
Cons
