    I worked at Alion full-time

    Pros

My pros are strictly about my coworkers, who I really enjoyed working with. I had a very, very good manager for the first two years but he left for greener pastures.

    Cons

Portsmouth management is lacking in many areas with communication being the worst. Won a contract then had our benefits cut as a reward. Non-existent pay raises. Heard nothing but crickets when my leadership reached out to the Portsmouth office for help and assistance. Government client was amazed by lack of leadership and communication from the Portsmouth office.

    Advice to Management

Learn to communicate with your satellite locations. Provide mentoring and assistance to the managers that you've hired. Try to pretend that "Our people are our strongest assets" means something.
